Answer:	Hi Lucy!I have this volleyball net, played badminton in a gym, and have an outdoor badminton net. I've found that the volleyball net, at its lowest setting, is a bit high to play badminton. If you're looking to have a simple barrier and players to power hit high/long for fun, then this works. If you are looking for something that's more like a gym's version, an outdoor badminton net works better for the "slam shots", backhands, etc. The boundary line area is smaller and can accomodate 1-3 people per side , whereas a volleyball net can accomodate 1-6 people per side. Answer:	the poles are designed to be at the surface and heights are notched at official heights. lowering the pole into the ground would not keep heights official.

Answer:	The poles sit on the ground. The guy lines clip to the pole with a carabiner, and then are pulled taught. The stakes at the end are driven into the ground. This tension holds the poles upright. The lines can be tightened with the built in plastic angle pieces by pulling on them.

Answer:	The net does not come with poles for setting up. It only comes with dowel rods for inside the net ends to keep net straight when set up for play.

Answer:	Very easy to set up, I would highly recommend it... amazing quality...we set it up May 2014 and it has stayed up and is still in top quality shape

Answer:	Not As far as I can tell! The posts rest on the surface and do not need to go into the ground; however, the stakes need to be secured in the ground (using the pins provided).

Answer:	They are anchored into the ground in way that's similar to tent poles. There are two ropes that are hooked to the top of each pole and then the other end of the ropes are staked into the ground. The tension of the ropes and the net hold the poles in place. We've had our net up all summer and have had no issue with the net/poles becoming loose or falling.
Question:	I see that the net height is adjustable, but what heights can it be adjusted to? I need a 6 ft height for my youngest daughter and 7’11” for older kid
