Answer:	It's not a defect, if that's what you're asking-- it is supposed to be bowed. This can be a problem if you're using the net on a convex surface (like perpendicular to a road), as it can get high-centered.

Answer:	Hi, I would not use a hammer. When we assembled our set the pulley caps fit to the poles fairly easy, in fact the whole thing went together easily. I can only suggest that you review the instructions again to be sure that you are fitting the caps to the correct end of each pole.

Question:	I'm looking to use this for a beach event. Has anyone used it at the beach, and is sturdy and easy to set up
Answer:	Men's, co-ed, and women's heights: 8' minus a bit, 7'8", and 7'4". You could, though it's not a long term solution, simply move the net down on the pole slightly, while keeping the height at the highest 7'11 5/8" setting. To go higher you'd have to place the poles on something that itself was above the ground. The net slides freely up and down the poles to installation anyway, so you'll have to pull on it to get it to the top in the first place.
Question:	Where can I purchase replacement stakes
Answer:	yes. only draw back would be anchoring it. stakes are long but they are just like a nail. won't hold well in loose dirt/sand. but that can also depend on how tight you want your net. I keep ours tight enough that you can play off of it.

Answer:	You may want to look elsewhere for a different product, this kit requires digging two, 4 foot deep holes in the ground and then use concrete to solidly a pvc sleeve for these poles to slide down into (totally other story concerning that) This kit doesn't require stake anchors
Question:	Is the net removable from the poles, say for rolling out of the way yet leaving the poles permantently where they are
Answer:	Unfortunately, unless you buy their PVC sleeve, standard ones bought in store are too thick walled to work. We tried, but had to buy their PVC.

Question:	I have two poles set up but how do we put the net on the poles
Answer:	I bought (4) 3/8” threaded eye bolts, 8 nuts, and 8 washers, drilled holes in the poles and mounted the eye bolts (3 feet apart). I put the yellow straps (provided) between the stick and eyebolt (strap works like a web-belt) and cinched at each end until the net was tight (tie off slack to pole to keep tight). I fed the cable ends through the eyebolts And used another yellow strap between the top and bottom cable ends to keep the cable tight.
