Answer:	Thank you for asking but to be perfectly honest, we do not know as we have never personally tested this under those conditions. Hopefully, another user will pop up and help answer this question for you. There are 2 metal stays, one on each side of the leg so those could very well trigger the scanner. Answer:	Thanks for asking. This knee compression sleeve is made with a bit thicker material than the ones you see on TV or are found at the drugstores. It is intended to be a more substantial knee compression sleeve, so you can expect to have a tad bit more bunching of material behind the knee. As some one already pointed out, if you get the appropriate size, that bunching will be minimal and you will be able to sit in a kneeling position. But we do feel we need to make you aware that this is not a super thin compression sleeve.
