| Answer: | You need to run 3 cables across your cage, one down each side & one down the middle. Pre-tighten the cable using a ratcheting strap or cable hoist. Then finish tightening using the turnbuckles. Put all 3 of the turnbuckles on one end. The other end will be where you slide your net to when not in use to get it out of the way. Basically, if you are buying a 12' high net, you want the cable height between 11' & 11' 6". On a 12' wide net you want the 2 outside cables 12' to 12' 3" apart. You will also have a cable running down the middle of the net. The carabineers are attached to the rope on the net and the cable & spaced a couple of feet apart. From what I understand the DLX version comes with a weighted ball and a strike zone attachment that you can attach on to the net, in case you want a strike zone you can pitch into. | Answer: | You’ll have to decide that based on the span of where you’re hanging the net and how many cables supporting the net. I have 3 cables for the sides and center. My net is 55’ but my span is at least 60 feet. You’ll need more than just the span width and if you have guy wires supporting a frame you’ll need some for that as well.
