Answer:	It depends on which association she plays for and what size ball they use. My daughter is 10 and used a 9" ball for her 10U travel team. Next year she moves up to 12U and will be using 12" balls. During tryouts we realized she was having trouble catching the larger balls with her smaller glove. So we picked up the 12" version of the Mizuno MVP Prime, and it seems to fit well with some room for growth over the next couple of seasons. At this age, I would not go any larger than the 12" model though.

The bottom line is this a great backyard, recreational glove to play catch with or use for some recreational baseball or softball and it is more important to get the size that fits your hand size.
