My teenage son used this for boxing, wrestling and Jiu Jitsu with no teeth, tongue or lip injury. Make sure you buy the correct size, there is an adult and youth version. The youth version was too small for him when he was 13.

Answer:	Depends on how big they are for their size. These fit my son very well. He was 11, and has a biggish head. If they're average or small for their age, I don't think it would fit.

Answer:	I actually bought it for myself to eliminate snoring, but a little too small. But being in the martial arts for many years, YES it will work!!

Answer:	Yes, I bought this for my 4 yr old daughter. It was too big and we cut it to size with no problem. I cut it it before boiling it and smoothed out the rough edges. My daughter says it very comfortable and hasn't had any problems keeping it in her.

Answer:	In answer to your question, the answer is "No". Our "Cushion" sports mouth guard is not recommended to be worn with fixed orthodontic braces. Sorry.
Question:	Do we have to boil it
Answer:	They will work however the fit won't be snug of course. For a perfect fit they do require the boiling process
