Question:	is there a warranty for the pen? how do i make a claim
Answer:	A baking soda/water solution takes the smell/taste out of almost all items - plastic or metal. If this doesnt do the trick, put in a couple spoons of baking soda then pour in vinegar - do this in sink as mixture foams up. Will smell like apples!!! (Also works great to not only remove odors from thermoses, but cleans out the build up left from repeated use for coffee/tea. Freshens drains as well!) Let sit for several minutes then wash as usual. Answer:	I wouldn't make a hot drink in it. I don't think it would melt, but I'd burn my hand.

Answer:	I have not placed mine in the freezer. The plastic is pretty durable so I would think if you allowed for normal scientific expansion of let's say water, it would be ok? But I have NOT done it myself. This isn't a plastic easily crumpled like a water bottle one would buy in a convenient store. Its thick.

Answer:	The diameter across the bottom is 2 3/8" and the circumference in 8 1/2". The bottle starts to flare out about 4" above the bottom. It's a great bottle -- no after-taste of plastic even if it's in a hot car for awhile. Hope this info helps you.

Question:	Does the cap come unscrewed on it's own? I kept my last tac pen on a lanyard with my keys and after a while was left with only a cap
Answer:	The pen end needs to be pulled really hard several times & the it will come off. As you put it on & off it should become easier. There seems to be a tough seal between the pen end and cap.
Question:	can you use fisher ink in it
Answer:	Yes the cap fits on the sharp non writable end and the writable end. It fits very snug and then it pops into place, it does rotate however which isn't a bad thing. The pocket clip is very thick and strong, it will not fall off of you unless pulled hard. The clip also goes back to its original spot all the time. It will not get bent out of shape unless forcibly abused.

Answer:	It depends upon how alert the TSA folks are. It is safer to place in baggage unless you are flying into a 3rd world airport. Under the latter circumstances I would put in my carry-on conspicuously with other pens & pencils and have business cards near it saying you are a mechanical engineer. On most flights operators carry Bic pens. They are difficult to break and make a hole the same size as an AK-47 round.

Answer:	How durable for what? As a pen (it is a pen), it is a tank! Is not a firearm, nor is it an edged weapon. But, as a possible means of increasing your odds of surviving an "empty handed" encounter, and for the money, this would sure beat empty hands. All metal (aluminium), good, hand-filling size, yet not as aggressive looking as some of the more tactical looking pens out there. Having said all that, it writes well, is easily hidden in plain view, and I'm taking it with me to Jury duty ..... should I need to take notes ..... and though I won't give you mine to test, I am reasonably sure you can hammer it into quarter inch plywood, should the need arise. )

Answer:	The cap on this pen "screws" onto the body. Although it has an o-ring between the cap and the body (which makes inadvertent cap removal less likely), it is still possible...although very unlikely if you tighten the cap. However, neither the cap nor the body has a hole for a lanyard, and the clip is not designed for that use.

Answer:	I honestly don't know I know it took some looking but I was able to find get ink refills for mine. I ended up going to Office Depot to find the right size. I know I would not give this pen up for anything. I love it.

Answer:	Unfortunately, I have had to use this for self defense once thus far. I got out of work around 1AM (faculty maintenance emergency) and had to get gas. I was approached by a man that demanded money, followed by a quick scuffle. I took this very pen and delivered a quick thrust to the rib cage, and he was down in extreme pain. I called 911 at a safe distance from the man to get him help. I highly recommend this pen.

Answer:	No this and all Tactical Pens are "Not" approved and when they find it they will confiscate it. If you take it and they do find it you will be subject to potential weapons issues.

Answer:	I'm not sure which Fisher refill will work, but one was listed in the literature before I tossed the paper. Pilot G2 is one that works, I've seen some others, but the spare Parker Schmidt P900M Pen Cartridge (UPC: 044356206679) refills I purchased with the pen are in storage. Haven't needed them (yet). Only had my S&W pen for half a year.
Question:	Does pilot G2 cartridges work in this pen
Answer:	Yes it is frustrating. I did find them on EBay. No standard sizes but " stylus " devices are more prolific so they are available. Measure yours to do your search. Also purchased some 2 for 5.00 cheapos and robbed them for the tips. I have 2 of these 29$ devices so I get your frustration. Check Fisher Space pens for Stylus parts too. They also offer several models of everyday combo pens. Good luck.

Answer:	Bring this item up on the Amazon website and look through the questions/answers. I seem to remember that someone answered this question, but I don't remember. I never use the stylus anyway, and after awhile they start falling off. I hope this helps, and I'm sorry that I could not do better.

Answer:	Honestly don't remember if it came with an instruction sheet. If it did I completely ignored it because there are only two moving parts. The cap that screws off the pen and screws on to the back for when you're writing, and the removable part around the cartridge that unscrews to replace said cartridge. Otherwise you will need to watch some self-defense videos or get some training if you are unsure how to use this device for protection. It feels very comfortable and natural in the hand so don't let a lack of instructions prevent you from getting this awesome pen that functions as a great low-key EDC personal protection device.

Answer:	Negative, it is a Parker style cartridge. Schmidt makes multiple options including a rollerball gel ink version if that is your preference. I'm more than satisfied with the way this pen writes and am very happy with it overall. Highly recommend it!

Answer:	The pen comes with two black ballpoint cartridges, but they are interchangeable with standard Parker and Fisher refills, so you have the option to use any color or ink type that they make. I personally really like the Parker gel refills.
Question:	How do you retract the pen so that it doesnt write all over your clothes
Answer:	Mine came put together but if it needs a cartridge installed for the pen you just unscrew the pen in the middle and install cartridge and screw back together. The pen just twist for in and out on the pen.
Question:	I want to know if this pen has a knife inside and does it slide out
Answer:	We find that standard Parker ink cartridges work the best.
