Answer:	I used the ones I bought to filter out contaminants from a two fifty gallon barrels of marine diesel fuel that were given to me to use in my generator at my cabin. i used a low pressure (3 PSI.) electric fuel pump to force the diesel through the filters and into clean containers. For a small single cylinder diesel engine it probably could be used, anything larger though I would guess that its flow would probably be too low.
