Answer:	Hi, Justin, like most knives they loosen up over time. My trainer overall is not stiff, I had 1 spot on 1 handle that was just a little stiff but I loosened it up wiggling the handle at the spot and through use. If I wanted to I could probably oil it but it doesn't need it.
