I have used these many times skipping rope in the past two weeks and they are wonderful for that purpose. I highly recommend these for skipping rope.

Answer:	My experience has been on a low rug surface, which is the closest I have come to the surface which you describe. The only place I use them is on the aforementioned and in a training area which is matted. What I find is that they grip very well, but a proper "spin" can be achieved due to the solar discs on the shoe itself. A 360 is easily effected with proper technique. These shoes are the BEST!
