Answer:	This mat will do fine on a CLEAN tile floor. The rubber is sticky enough that a clean floor will hold it just fine. I'm 225lbs and it doesn't slide around at all unless the floor is dusty and clogs the sticky part of the rubber. No fear; if it does get dusty, just wash the mat.

Question:	What is the best type/brand salt and brush to use for "breaking in" this mat
Answer:	I agree with comment from Nancy Kossman. That is more for cleaning the mat however. I did not use salt to break it in. It was a little slippery at first but after a couple uses it was fine. I didn't do anything special to break it in except use it.
Question:	Why is this SO slippery
Answer:	I love this mat but have wrestled with how slippery it was (and hasn't gotten better after 6 months of use). I found a forum where a user proposed a solution.1) Buy some J&J baby shampoo2) Buy some sponges with an end that has a scrubbing surface3) Put the mat in the tub and wash it in warm water with the baby shampoo and scrub the surface 4) Rinse the mat5) Hang to dryThis worked like a champ for me, just did a 90 minute yoga session and didn't slip once!!! Hopefully it works for you guys!
Question:	are these mats slippery
Answer:	Mine was really slippery when I first got it. Did the salt thing and the vinegar thing. Customer service was very helpful. It's not as slippery now - just a teensy bit so. Friends who have these mats have had them for years and swear by them. So they probably get better gripping power the more you use them.
Question:	What type of spray to use to clean manduka pro mat? I do not want to continuously buy the manduka spray. Anyone make their own spray w/ essential oils
Answer:	The according to Manduka the pro series will not absorb any cleanser. It recommends 1:1 ratio of vinegar to water, which is what I use and works really well for me. I do not recommend using soap (even Dr. Bs) as you should probably rinse after. The manduka website states if you use a store bought cleaner you should thoroughly rinse after.
