Question:	I am concerned that the bar on the kip bar looks like it's wood. If it is wood should I be worried about the kids using it may get splinters
Answer:	Less than 6”. I replaced the rocks that came with the fire pit with blue and clear glass rocks. There were not enough of the rocks that came with it and we wanted the color. It took four 10lb bags of the Holland Bahama Blend rocks to fill it up. We ordered those from Amazon as well. We LOVE this firepit! We use it year round. S’mores in the summer and cozy patio sitting the rest of the year in Texas.
Question:	Does this come with everything in the pic? The bar and balance beam
Answer:	Can't say for sure if it's stainless steel, that's obviously a manufacturing detail they left out in the description. Would be nice if they added that, right? ;-) Ours is in storage right now as we live in a snow belt. This fire pit came with a cover, which we used routinely last summer after every use, once the unit cooled down. That way it's protected by the elements and if it's gonna rust, it'll take awhile. Hope this helps with your decision! We love it and look forward to using it soon!

Answer:	I have this model. I bought it based on the 10-Star ratings I found when I did online research. So far I've never had a surge or spike that activated mine. You obviously bought one that did. If the User Manual that came with it didn't show how to reset, you might want to contact their Customer Service (1-877-800-4272) or Technical Support (1-800-555-2725). If these number's aren't current, then go to their website and click on Contact. This company has been around since 1981, and their longevity gives creedence to the quality of their products. I hope my comments helped.

Answer:	Yeah I measure 2" from the wall including my wall plate. There is a slight gap and the unit is about 1-5/8". I took a picture but don't know where to post it.

Question:	is it good for traveling
Answer:	Well depends what you mean by good. It's very light and very small in diameter around but it still is 4 feet long so as long as you don't mind the length. I will say though you really need 2 imo to make it worth while.
Question:	how many would you recommend buying
Answer:	I bought this for my 10 yr old granddaughter last year for Christmas. (She is actually upstairs on it right now!!). I would definitely buy 2! They velcro together and separate easily. She needs the longer length to practice her cartwheels (which she can now do on the beam at gymnastics, 85% due to her being able to practice at home). I would not have been as satisfied (and I don't think she would have either) with just one short 4' section. Hope this helps!

Answer:	It's a foam balance beam. I'm 115lbs and would like for it to be more firm. I find it very useful, but a little squishy for doing cartwheels, etc. It does not feel like a real balance beam at the gym. However, it's super convenient and for the price I can't complain.

Answer:	Probably not, unless you are going to purchase about 2 or 3 to connect together or unless the 14 year old is very petite. I purchased this for a 10 year old and got 2 in order to give her enough length to begin and end a tumbling move while still on the device.

Answer:	My 8 year old daughter does everything you mentioned on this beam. It’s very sturdy on flat/hard surfaces and fairly sturdy on carpet. There is an antiskid surface on the bottom.

Answer:	Extremely stable. We have frieze carpet, and even I can tumble around on it (I’m heavier than pretty much any actual gymnast). The only movement is a teeny tiny bowing downward at the hinge.
Question:	Could you attach 2 securely to make it longer
Answer:	I suppose you could permanently attach some Velcro tabs to the bottoms to try to keep them together, but honestly, I’m not sure how stable that would be. There is currently nothing on the beam allowing you to attach another beam. The two halves of the beam are secured with a hinge that allows the beam to fold and unfold.

Answer:	It's a nice balance beam, but in all honesty I probably wouldn't get it for my high schooler. My daughter is 8 and it's perfect for her but I think something a little more firm would suit a high school aged child better.

The beam is 8 feet long, 4 inches wide and 12 inches high. Made with a wood core, closed cell foam padding, and wrapped with a commercial grade synthetic suede. The balance beam comes with 12 inch braces, and a set of low braces - 6 inches high. Both sets are constructed with 11 gauge heavy grade steel, powder coated black, and fitted with rubber end caps. The folding mat is a 3 panel mat that is 4 feet wide and 6 feet long. It folds down for easy transport and storage. Mat is made with industry standard crosslink foam enclosed in a durable 18 ounce vinyl. Comes with a one year warranty.

Question:	Will this fray my carpeted floors due to the Velcro backside?? Is there something that is made to put under it to be used on carpet
Answer:	There are 8 base pieces and 4 flowers can fit in each base. The heights of flowers would have to vary to actually fit 4 on each base. The bases all interlock. It’s a really cute set.
Question:	I placed an order and it was supposed to be delivered two days in a row now its saying delayed. Any way to get a different color sent quicker

Question:	I did get a small puncture in the mat. What should I put on it to avoid a larger hole
Answer:	No, there is no storage box, but I just bought 2 small plastic containers from the Dollar Store and put the bases and stems in one and all the flower components in the other. It works great!!
