This little bauble relies on you using your foot and ankle in combination, which means with a fused ankle as mentioned already, it might not be a good fit for you in stretching your calf muscles. Question:	which swing rope and Ladder would be compatible with this
Answer:	There is definitely some would under the foam padded outside but I can not tell you the quality of the wood. It seems cheap and hollow. When I pick up the beam I hear something rattling on the inside. Using a piece of lumber would work but you would need to add the padding on the outside. If you used the wood it would be solid and more durable. This beam is shaped like a trapezoid and a piece of lumber is a rectangle. I think a 4”x6”x8” would give you a wider base and make it more sturdy. Hopefully this helps.
