Answer:	There is a small piece that wedges at the top of a door. When you close the door it stays put. The longer strap attaches to the loop at the top of the door. The longer strap has two loops to put your feet in. One a foot is in the loop, it's like a pulley where you use your arm to hoist the leg up as far as you can. Works great.

The limiting factor is not the necessary the length of the strap but the height of the D-Ring (top of the door) if you will be extending your leg completely vertical. Answer:	Yes, the stretching is totally controlled by the user. You can even set a chair to assist. Highly recommend.
Question:	Are these made in the USA
Answer:	All you have to do is use included strap and use it slowly. I use mine on the open floor and I have tight hips but the machine is small enough for small people and adjusts even for my vvb legs and I'm 6ft 1in.
Question:	How much floor space do you need
Answer:	Probably not safely, it has a squared hook for a door so when you close the door it holds it, anything else might let it slip off, youd have to nail it to a wall or something. Hope this helps !!

Answer:	Getting it up there often might prove difficult ... and you’d want it on a door that is not used particularly often. That way it can just stay there. Using it on a door that high might be difficult for a short child. An adult or teen shouldn’t have an issue.
