Answer:	As long as you buy a big enough one I don't see why not. We ride english but I have tacked up western for trail rides and used the western blankets with the 1/2 pad under the saddle. Western saddles are larger so I would order an 18 or 19" 1/2 pad

Answer:	They are american designed and patented, but no hardware in the equine industry is american made. Freight and the two step markup of wholesaler to dealer, dealer to consumer is the reason. It is a great product, as dealers we are limited by the wholesaler as to the minimum price we can sell at and continue to buy, so they are at a stable price except for a few times a year when sales are allowed. Even so, it is not a product with a huge markup as there is complexity to its design and extra parts besides the ring adding to the unit cost. They do last forever and nothing matches them for function, so still represent a good value.

Answer:	HiI bought the adult size for my horse who is 16hh. I also bought the child's version for my daughter to use on her pony, he is only 11hh. I would suggest if your daughters horse is 14hh or over she needs a horse size but anything smaller would be ok with a pony size.Hope that helps!
