Answer:	No these are not meant for mitt work, these are for the punchers, to serve the punches, not for the trainers, to receive the punches. these are for the trainees, not the trainers.

Answer:	No not really, they fit snug tho with two Velcro straps. One small one on top of the back of your hand/wrist the other is a wrap around your wrist area. You want them tight bc if not the sliding around inside when you’re punching would be bad.

Answer:	I bought them to hit a heavy bag and turns out they’re really not padded enough for any extended hitting. However, they might work just right for a speed bag. We don’t have a speed bag at our gym.

Answer:	I use them for weighted bag at the gym and have no problems. So the padding is good and sufficient in my opinion. padding thickness is about as thick as two quarters stacked.

Answer:	Hi Diane, These were a gift so I don't know how he determine size BUT, I'am 5' 105lbs. and they fit good' My daughter is 5'3" so I had her try them on, they fit her good also. My middle finger is 2 3/4" long, my daughters is 3" long if you put the end of a ruler just touching the web and lay your middle finger against the ruler, that is how I measured it. My gloves are Sanabul size 8 oz. Wish you the best !

Answer:	Not sure if this question has been answered yet, however, for those reading for the future here is the deal ladies and gentlemen. It does not matter if you are 5'2 or 6'4 what matters is your weight. They have weight classes for a reason. Generally the more you weight the harder you punch so you would want a heaver glove for the added protection. Not all gloves are created equal so I can't comment on this particular brand. This is simply from a general overview. For example, Rival gloves are known for their protection and wrist support on their gloves. They are also extremely expensive; I have the RB-10 and while they have great padding and excelling wrist support they are $150. Title Gel gloves also have great support. Ok, so now back to this again. These gloves look very good and prob have good protection but don't expect the world okay. Get nothing less than 12 oz and the reason why is unless you are 90 lb 8 to 10 oz are for competition not bag work. 12 to 14 oz are general bag work. The entire point behind gloves are to have weight behind them to allow you to get tired to train harder but not go overboard. Otherwise, just do shadow boxing. So why not get 16 oz? Well you can if you are 180 or above as generally you are a bigger guy or gal and the lighter oz will feel like 6oz gloves. If you are say 155 lbs and use 16 oz yeah, be better protection in theory, but too heavy for you beyond 2-3 rounds. I personally have both 12 and 14 oz and I prefer the 12 oz. I feel like I get good work in and able to land a lot of power shots and can easily go for 8 or 9 rounds 30 seconds break. I have 5'6 and 143 lbs. To sum up. 12 oz is the sweet spot if up to 155. 14 oz oz for 155 to 180 lbs and 16 oz for 180 and above. Typically 16 oz are sparring gloves but if have extra weight you can and should be able to support it in your hands. Any Question let me know. I am a certified boxing coach

Answer:	my 6yo grandson takes kick boxing with UFC gym. I bought their brand because it has a life time warranty. I wanted a less expensive backup pair for when he spends the night and his gloves are at his house. They told me not to get the 4 oz for him. their exact words was " don't follow the children's guidelines. they recommended 8-10oz. the coaches and owner said the 8 and 10 will protect his hands better. there is very little to no protection with the 4oz gloves. I was also told the 8-10oz would also last longer than the 4oz. one coach said the higher the better. so I mentioned they have a 12,14 and 16oz.... all 3 coaches and the owner said NOOOOOOO at the same time. those are way to big!! he meant compared with the 4oz. I saw another brand, Sanabul and looked into the colors and sizes. they had a section on buying for children. it said 8-10oz is recommended. Right now I am going back and forth trying to decide which one of the two I should buy. I already have the Sanabul MMA punching mitt and I like both the Elite and the Sanabul gloves so which do I buy????? I do know which ever it is, it will be 10oz. Question:	What size should I get? I am 150lbs, male and use it for training
Answer:	all gloves fit the same on the inside. the size is in reference to the amount of padding the glove offers. 16 oz means more padding and is typically used for sparring. 12 oz is lesser padding and typically used for bag work. I suggest using 16's for both because the added weight adds to the workout and increases the stamina in your arms (keep em up) :) if in doubt, ask your gym!
Question:	Is there a recommended XL glove? It's a challenge to get both gloves on without any handwraps
Answer:	Try Windy. They make great gloves and the hand space was much better for me than the hayabusas. It seems to me that the hayabusas are more form fitting.

Answer:	I received black wraps with the red gloves so I am assuming that is the universal color that will come with all glove. I suggest their quick wraps once back in stock instead.
Question:	How come it only lets you choose weight of the glove an not size
Answer:	Choosing weight of the gloves is the industry standard. Also, different manufacturers, whether textile or clothing, have their own standards. In my case, I have small hands (I am 5'7" @ 185lbs, yep fat), but I wanted to get a workout with heavier gloves and the got 16 oz, but they were too big and ended up getting the 12 oz as it fit better and was more comfortable. That is my experience with Hayabusa S4 Training Gloves.
