Answer:	I don’t think they are too small at all. Kids play with them in the basement and on the patio outside. Great for kids and adults. Well made and solid wood.

Answer:	They already have some sand in the bottom to help give them a little weight and stability. You could drill a whole in the bottom and add more and maybe plug the hole somehow but personally I think the weight they are is sufficient

I bought it for a non-profit that has programs for developmentally disabled adults withvarying degrees of ability.
