| Answer: | It is difficult to answer this question, as it embodies some degree of ambiguity. I assume, as do others, that by "standard billiard balls" you mean standard U.S. pool balls, which are 2 1/4" in diameter. Please note that billiard balls as used in carom billiards are bigger; and in English pool and snooker, smaller. There are at least six sizes in use internationally, not counting the miniature sizes. But yes, I would imagine playing snooker on a U.S. pool table ("International pool" table), this is the size you want, due to cushion nose height. But know, the pockets are going to be much easier, in proportion, than snooker table pockets. |
