Answer:	This depends on the size of the acorns and hickory nuts. The approximate maximum spacing between the wires of my Kollectaball 60 is 1/2 inch. So anything smaller in diameter than that would likely fall out or may not be picked up at all.

Answer:	I am not sure if it will pick up black walnuts, unless if your tennis court is rated by them. This will pick up tennis balls with ease and efficiency. FUNCTION OF OSCILLATION

When the oscillation speed is zero, it is designed to serve the balls of fixed point.

When it works with adjusting knob, it is designed to serve the random balls by right to left.
