They looked nice, I would say average beginners paddles. I have no idea how they will hold up. But I was very satisfied for the money and having a nice case.

FUNCTION OF OSCILLATION

When the oscillation speed is zero, it is designed to serve the balls of fixed point.

When it works with adjusting knob, it is designed to serve the random balls by right to left.

The range of the oscillation is about 15 °. As shown above,the serve point of ball is within the red arrow which It will make sure that at the same speed, the left and right swinging balls will not run out of the table.

FUNCTION OF TWO SERVE TYPES

2 types: can serve ball directly and indirectly.

Direct type: suitable for daily practice,compared with indirect type,it is much stronger on its speed and spin.

Steps: Loosen the copper knob of the robot head,and adjust the elevation,then adjust the proper speed and spin.

Indirectly type: suitable for beginner to practice different skill of serving and returning ball.

Answer:	The Robo-Pong 2040+ can use either 40mm or 40+mm balls. We would not recommend mixing them because they will have a different landing position due to the size difference. The Robo-Pong works great with the two star Robo-Balls. We offer Robo-Balls in orange and white in 40mm and 40+mm. You can use table tennis balls from well known brands that are rated at least 1 star and purchased from an authorized dealer of that brand. Please note that most balls are rated by the manufacturer (unless stamped ITTF Approved) so company A's 3 star ball may not be as good as company B's 1 star ball.

Answer:	I think the 100 would be the right size. I do not recommend any diawa silvercast, though, because my last two developed a groove in the pawl from line friction, quickly. Maybe A Zebco 33 would serve you better.
