| Answer: | Hello, it seems that it could due to the areas where there are open sections or holes for adjusting the stand which could allow water to seep inside and rust. It does have a good, thick coating on the outside, but again, it has some areas where water could access. You may be able to maybe use electrical tape to cover those areas once the stand is adjusted for you, just a suggestion. Hope that helps |
