Answer:	Because it is a stainless steel blade it is very hard. 1000/4000 is way to fine. I start off with 150 grit and 280 fine, the same as I use to sharpen my axe and hatchets. It takes about 3 minutes to get it sharp enough to shave with. I also have a handheld accusharp that I have always carried with me hunting and I touch it up with that if cutting ribs or something with bone. My family had a huge meat market and slaughterhouse when I was growing up and I sharpened a lot knives for the butchers. I am in love that handheld Accusharp, I think I have 3 of them. The Sharpening blades are diamond-honed tungsten carbide and are reversible and replaceable. I just touched up my cleaver today. You should try and get a 22 degree angle on the cutting edge and after that you might want to get an 18-20 degree,

Answer:	Mine also has a very minor pitch to it..but if I were to use it professionally, I might choose a more expense knife with a higher grade steel and precision alignment.

Answer:	The sheath that came with it is pretty nice I think. But that is me. As for additional or replacement sheaths and where to get them I have no idea. Good luck though.

Answer:	I am not 100% certain, but I believe this knife is made by "Black Mamba Knives" in Mundelien, Illinois, USA. I have purchased this knife and am delighted with it. Very good quality and the handle is well made. I've traced the knife to Black Mamba and believe it to be made by them for these reasons: Quality of blade and handle construction are similar. The folded Damascus pattern in my blade is nearly identical to several of the other knives on the Black Mamba site. The handles of my knife and others on their site contain the same sigil - the brass tubes within a larger brass tube.

Clip Blade

The clip blade is one of the most common blade types that is used as a multi-purpose blade and is preferred for its versatility. The clip point blade lends itself to a quicker stabbing advantage when puncturing game due to its sharp tip, but has a narrow and comparatively weaker tip than a drop point blade.

Gut Hook Blade

The gut hook feature on this leather hunter allows outdoor enthusiasts, guides and professional hunters to easily cut underneath the skin of game and is used for field dressings.

Drop Point Blade

Care Tips for Case Knives

Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel (SS) is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance.

Chrome Vanadium (CV) blades are known for their edge-holding ability and easy re-sharpening. However, they are less resistant to rusting, pitting and discoloration than stainless steel. We recommend keeping a thin film of oil on the blade to maintain the finish.

Sharpening

Blades are honed at an inclusive angle of 35° - 45° from the factory. Maintaining a constant angle, hold the blade 17° - 22° from the surface of a sharpening stone and stroke the blade as if shaving a thin layer from the stone. Repeat the stroking motion along the entire edge of the blade starting at the blade heel and working to the tip. Turn the blade over and repeat the process.

Cleaning

Using a small drop of oil, wipe down the joints, blades, and handles. The inside of knife can be cleaned with cotton-tipped swabs and wooden tooth picks. To remove any adhesive tape on your knife, apply nail polish remover or lighter fluid to a soft cloth to easily remove the residue. Rusting may occur to older knives. Rust spots on older knives should be oiled well and the knife should be allowed to sit for a few days. Carefully, scrape away the rust spot with the tip of a sharp, stiff knife.

Answer:	It depends what you call full-tang. These knives are actually rat-tail tangs; they go all the way to the butt cap but taper down and are narrower than the blade. Rat-tail tangs are not considered as strong as a continuous full-tang (which are the same width as the blade).

Answer:	Hello, this sheath would not fit a Tops T1 Tracker. We may carry one in the future does that.

Question:	Is the blade supposed to be stamped with case made in USA? Mine has no marking. Does this mean it's counterfeit
Answer:	No. This is made for something like the Tops Tom Brown Tracker.

Question:	Does the deluxe sheath (the better model holster) have a belt clip
Answer:	Don’t think so
Question:	Is this the deluxe sheath that has the cord cutter and sharpener or just the black molded one? Thanks
Answer:	Although the width of this Tang is not as wide as the blade it is one piece of steel that runs the full length of the knife with the handle made of leather washers stacked and pressed tightly together and held in place by the pommel cap. Question:	Does the black tini coating extend fully to the tang (under the grip)? just looking for better water protection under a grip that can not be removed
Answer:	Both the and the case are mark (USA). Order to see the (made in USA )on the sheath you must open it up. Unlawful the lock by flipping it downward . Then squeeze tell two end pieces, and pull the belt upward. You will tan see the USA markings . Regarding the knife, the side with the thumb grooves simply says case. The reverse side says (USA 1015 6 1/2 S 2016 BESH. Hope this helps
Question:	Can you confirm the finish will be black TiNi, if selected? The product description lists powder coating, which is a very different quality of finish
Answer:	are you talking about oil for the sheath ? mink oil will work best , filtz metal polish for the blade
