Answer:	My 6 yr old grand son uses it mostly but my 2 yr old grand daughter uses it as well, it really depends on the destructiveness of the child. My neighbor got one as well and it did not prevent breakage when his son got mad threw it on the ground and jumped on it repeatedly. Answer:	Height of extended handle is 37.5 inches tall. Platform measures 11 inches deep by 10.5 inches wide. I have a previous model, too and the handle does not extend as high as this one, and the base is not quite as big, either.
