Answer:	Over dimensions are 20" tall X 12 1/2" wide X 4+ " deep. These are approximate. There are three compartments; Lower is 12" wide X 6" tall X 3" deep. Middle is 9" wide X 7" Tall X 4" deep. Upper (or large compartment) is 12" wide X 19" tall X 6" deep. This one has a small zippered mesh pouch on the front and a pouch on the back that will accommodate a hydration pouch or other small items. Answer:	No there are no pockets in the smaller sections. If you don't use the water compartment in the large section, there would be two pockets there.

Answer:	After I looked up the meaning of a bug out bag, I would say no. I think you would want more pockets. I was using this bag for trail work and it was just fine for that. I could carry a saw and loppers on the side using a chain saw protectors as pockets and a lot of small tools inside. If you do a search on the internet using "bug out bags" you will find a lot of good information.

Question:	What is the measurement of the strap completely extended
Answer:	I never measured it. I extend it full length because I’m a big guy it it rested under my left arm comfortably. I intend to use it without the strap and use the carrying handle. I put my diabetic supplies, a bottle of water and a small apple juice and there is still plenty of room. I might use it sometimes for my concealed carry weapon. Hope this helps.
