Answer:	It's in the instructions, you should have a good 3-5 inches of eye relief. So find your natural hold and cheek weld then place the red dot 3-5 inches away from your eye on the rail

Answer:	From looking at pictures of the Hatsan Model 85 I don't think so. These sights require dovetails in the barrel and receiver to be mounted and from what I can see the Model 85 does not use dovetails to mount their sights. The rifle can be made to have them fit but you would have to have dovetails cut by a gunsmith to have them mounted.
