Answer:	I havent had any issues with the one I received.

Answer:	I tried it with a no name inexpensive chronograph with mixed results. The chronograph itself and the lights would work together. HOWEVER the sunshades for this light kit force the rods holding them to a specific angle. That angle did not match up with the placement for the rods on the cheap chronograph. This caused some problems (through any given session one or more rods would pop out from the sunshade requiring it to be put back together again). So, the answer is that I feel reasonably certain that you could rig something up but it could end up being a frustrating experience for you.

Answer:	I bought this for my husband and it does comes with the tripod. It sits anywhere you want it , ground, table, ledge,ect. I supposed you could try to modify it for a longer/larger tripod. Obviously it will not fit in the carry case after. I have read that you could just get some conduit and stick the legs in that to get height as well.

Answer:	It does well on the moon but not so good on planets. It also lacks a finder type tube to look through to locate the stars and finding the planets is challenging. It's not a bad question. I do use mine primarily for spotting when shooting.

Answer:	I would be careful because I had it on my Ak-74 (5.45x39mm) and it shattered one of the adjustment lenses. And no longer works. It's made for low caliber so I wouldn't recommend. Shattered after about 400 rounds. Great scope besides that.

Question:	Will this scope handle a mosin nagant rcoil
Answer:	The 7.62X54mm cartridge of the Nagant is approximately equal to the .308 NATO round in recoil but that has much to do with the weight of the rifle. If you are planning to use the BARSKA scope on a AR-15 style rifle I'd say the recoil would be tolerated by the scope.
Question:	Can someone tell me what the lens caps are like. Are they the flip up kind that come on other Barska scopes? Thanks
Answer:	I just bought one and they are basic slip-on caps. Looking now to see where flip-ups are available for this model. Will update when I find them.
Question:	x 39 to much recoil to hold zero? looking for something thats good for 50 to 100 yards
Answer:	I don't believe this guy would hold zero on a 22I had it on a 223 and it would not hold zero don't waste your money by a better scope

Answer:	There is no false advertising, just an assumption of what 'IR' stands for--if you read the description of the scope you will find that it has 'illuminated reticles', meaning that the cross hairs can be lit--in this case you can choose from 3 shades of red or 3 shades of green depending upon lighting conditions & background; this is in addition to the standard black crosshairs--this has been a great scope for me & I like it, being the perfect scope for my application--good scope at a good price
