- Scopes for Handguns and Shotguns: There are specialized scopes designed for handguns and shotguns, catering to specific shooting requirements.
Mounts:

Features and Considerations:
- Magnification: Scopes come with various magnification levels, such as fixed power or variable zoom. Choose one based on your shooting preferences and intended application.
- Objective Lens Size: A larger objective lens lets in more light and can provide a brighter image, but it also adds weight and size to the scope.

- Illumination: Some scopes offer illuminated reticles, which are useful in low-light conditions. The intensity and color of the illumination can often be adjusted.
- Durability: Look for scopes with rugged construction, shockproof, waterproof, and fog-proof features to withstand various environmental conditions.
- Eye Relief: It's crucial to have adequate eye relief to prevent injury from recoil. The distance between your eye and the scope should be comfortable.
Price Range: Sight scopes with mounts can range in price from budget-friendly options to high-end models. Consider your budget and intended use when making a selection.
Remember that choosing the right sight scope and mount combination depends on your specific shooting needs, firearm type, and personal preferences. StrikeFire II Red/Green Dot Sight (SF-RG-501)
When situations demand split-second target acquisition and maximum field of view, mount up the StrikeFire II and shoot—both eyes open. Feature-rich, versatile and reliable, the StrikeFire II is a great choice for shooters who want a quality red dot sight. Features sleek rear-facing controls for power on/off and easy adjustment of ten dot intensity levels—lowest two settings are night-vision compatible. Automatically returns to the last dot intensity used when powered up. The 30mm aluminum alloy chassis provides extra-high recoil rating and is waterproof and fogproof. Strike fast!
The lower 1/3 co-witness cantilever mount model is ideal for rifle platforms, positioning the optic bore center 40 mm above the base surface.
Red/Green Dot Reticle
The 4 MOA Red/Green Dot is ideal for situations that demand split-second target acquisition. Choose among ten variable illumination settings—the lowest two settings are night-vision compatible.
The key thing to remember when shooting with the StrikeFire II red dot is to keep both your eyes open! Shooting with both eyes open allows you to take full advantage of your peripheral vision to get on target very quickly. Eye placement is not critical. As long as you can see the dot, you’ll hit your target!
Windage and Elevation Adjustments
The StrikeFire II red dot incorporates elevation and windage dials with audible clicks. Each small click will move the point-of-impact 1/2 Minute of Angle (MOA). 1/2 MOA will correspond to 1/2 inch at 100 yards, 1/4 inch at 50 yards, 1/8 inch at 25 yards, etc.
Adjust the elevation and windage settings:
1. Remove the dial covers.
2. Use the raised bar on the dial cover, a coin or screw driver to make the adjustments.
3. Turn the adjustment dial in the appropriate direction as indicated by the arrow on the dial. Move the dial in the direction you wish the bullet’s point-of-impact to change.
Mounting the StrikeFire II
To get the best results from your StrikeFire II red dot, proper mounting is essential and, although not difficult, the correct steps must be followed. Your firearm will need to be equipped with a Picatinny or Weaver style rail/base.
To attach the included cantilever ring mount:
1. Attach the lower part of the cantilever ring mount to the rail/base and make sure this is solidly seated in the base groove. To prevent recoil injury, position the ring so that you have at least four inches of eye relief.
2. Be sure the base clamp is hooked around the outside of the rail/base. Press downward and forward toward the muzzle. Then, firmly tighten the base clamp hex nut.
3. Place the StrikeFire II on the lower part of the cantilever ring mount with the adjustment control buttons facing the shooter. Tighten ring cap screws evenly until all are snug—use caution so as not to over-tighten. Once the screws are tightened, the StrikeFire II should not move on the rail/base.
- Matte black featuring a 3 MOA Dot reticle with 11 brightness settings; Mounts easily on most picatinny rails and is compatible with pistols, shotguns, rifles and muzzleloaders
- Waterproof construction: O ring sealed optics stay dry inside, even when totally immersed in water. Parallax - 50
- Shockproof construction: Built to withstand bumps, bangs, drops and the rough and tumble environment of the field

User questions & answers
Question: | Will this sight co-witness with magpul mbus blip-up backup sights |
Answer: | Yes we have used ours many times. You just need this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00YEEDJF6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1490656143&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=boom+pole+holder&dpPl=1&dpID=41Rbc4HYQKL&ref=plSrch |
Question: | how long is battery life |
Answer: | They are just regular turtle based legs. They will have a bit of resistance when collapsed or when moved into their respective spots. I always just grab the inside leg and the outside and pull them in separate directions. They all should also have a notch in which they lock in place once opened all the way. |
Question: | does this come with a mount riser |
Answer: | No, this particular model does not. |
Question: | I'm kind of on a tight budget I was either think of this or the UTG 4'' ITA red dot. What im wondering is if this one is worth getting |
Answer: | Yes. We run Alien Bees and/or White Lightning with a 47" octabox. You will need sand bags just to be safe. If your concern is the 47" box with a 4' arm, remember the 47" box is a diameter measurement, you will only need half that to clear the holding arm. |
Product features
Waterproof Construction and Nitrogen-Purged Fog-Proofing
Featuring nitrogen-purged fog-proofing, this red dot sight will not fog up due to humidity or rapid temperature changes, so you can always clearly see the red dot and your target. The optics are O-ring sealed and will stay dry even when fully immersed in water.

The TRS-25 has adjustable brightness settings from 1 to 11, illuminating the 3 MOA dot reticle inside to better help you with target acquisition. And by choosing lower brightness settings, you can prolong the red dot’s battery life.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the Ballistic Calculator dependent on wifi source such as a phone or tablet |
Answer: | I think Fakespot may be a little pessimistic, BUT... if you filter by Verified Purchaser you get a different sense of things. (meaning Amazon knows they purchased it... YES, you can review something on Amazon WITHOUT purchasing it). With the filter on there are 480 4/5 star reviews vs. 110 1/2 reviews. Without the filter it's 870 4/5 reviews vs 130 1/2 reviews. Hmm... Awful lot of unverified positive reviews... |
Question: | Why does it say that fakespot says that only 13.8% of these reviews for the scope are real |
Answer: | Does not come with batteries. ***Important note*** .....do not buy CR123 substitutes. They typically put out 3.7 volts instead of the 3V using the 123s. I used a substitute and it fried my light. |
Question: | Do batteries come with the iluminator |
Answer: | Yes, The ATN X-Site 4K Pro does include an IR Illuminator. However, if you want good night vision past 45 yards, purchase an aftermarket IR Illuminator. For the $$, this scope has a lot of features and the battery life is excellent. |
Question: | Is it safe to assume the IR is included since it is a day/night scope |
Answer: | The honeycomb filter prevents sunlight from reflecting off of the objective lens back toward the target. When hunting, glare from the lens can flash in certain lighting conditions/angles and spook the animal. |

Description: Side mount Heavy Duty Mount Base Full Metal Construction Attach to 20mm Standard Weaver Base take any scope mounts All Matt Black finish Install any scope onto this 20mm scope mount base Included in the Package: > Side Mount How to mount: The sight mount can stay on and the rifle cover can be removed for cleaning and access to the gas piston and BoltCarrierGroup .Once you adjust the sight mount by swinging over the hold down locking latch fully to left and then holding down springloaded bar and then adjusting retaining nut ( it's notched ) for incremental adjustments, you get a great tight hold on the rifle's sight mount holder. DO NOT overtighten the mount. If you cannot close it with just moderate force, you've tightened it too much, you must back off and readjust the notched adjustment nut. There is also a retaining "plate" the keeps the locking latch from working loose ( this is nice touch!) and you should tighten down this plate once you are satisfied that it is securely keeping the latch in place. There is also a split bolt that prevents the sight mount from ever working loose.I'd add on this . Actually .I would suggest using on all screws and nuts once you get your sight mount right for you. Remember to take your time and do the correct adjusting that is not too tight. If it is loose you'll know immediately. If too tight and its impossible to close the locking latch.
- quick attach/detach locking lever for tool free installation and quick removal
- Excellent zero retention, Just slides on and locks into place.
- Fully Adjustable for Most Side mount Variants and certain type.
- Picatinny Rails for Scope Accessory Applications
- Optimal Clearance to Fit All Tactical Scopes Right on Top of Bore Centerline
User questions & answers
Question: | Does this work for the svg |
Answer: | I’m not 100% sure, as I was skeptical myself the initial inspection was a little more in depth than with other devices I have purchased from known dealers. The apparently material quality makes me doubt that they are fake, however the one I received did come without any markings on the outside of the housing, leading me to believe that these may be refurbished units. While I haven’t had any issues, the device has felt solid and held up well to repeated fire, I would still recommend purchasing through a more reputable source. Even if they are refurbished you can get one from someone else guaranteed new at this price. Hopefully that helps. |
Question: | Will this fit on an AK |
Answer: | I own 2 of these lights. One is mounted on a Glock 22. The second is on an 870. I don't see why it wouldn't fit on a G23. Good lights. |
Question: | Can you still use the iron sight while this mounted |
Answer: | As long as you buy a brand new on it should. Most Streamlight light come with a life time one. I have a SL20 that I bought in 1992. I have sent it to stream light a couple of times to have it rebuilt and all I have had to pay was the shipping. They even straighen the battery tub after it was ran over. They do not ocover the bulds or batterys. I love this light. |
Question: | Will this fit a saiga |
Answer: | The 1s (C4 version) is rated at "up to 300 lumens" while the 1H is rated to "bursts of up to 630 lumens". Have not measured with instruments but I think it is 300. Like the light and it works well for me. |
Question: | I would like to mount a laser on my beretta 84f cheetah. it doesn't have a rail. willing to try anything |
Answer: | I think it will. As long as the end cap for mag, is behind the tip I don't see why it wont. But that is based on the pictures I am looking at. And if the tip unscrew, that may help with install if there is a space issue. Hope it helps. |
Question: | Will this fit the umerax m&p 40 blowback co2 bb gun |
Answer: | You can face the rail towards the muzzle rather than the reciever to get more room near the grip but I don't know if it would clear the heat shroud. It would depend on how the shroud attaches to the barrel. |
Question: | Will this work on a m&p compact |
Answer: | No, it will not. |
Question: | Will this fit a s&w 9 sub compact |
Answer: | Not on my Shockwave 590. The rail sits out far enough to allow the pump grip to slide under it by at 1/4". I love it. In fact, once you get used to it, you realize it's in the perfect position to allow you forehand to grip the pump and, with a quick extension of that thumb, turn the flashlight on. I paired it with the "Dagger Defense offset picatinny rail" and "J5 Tactical V1-Pro Flashlight". Couldn't be happier. |
