User questions & answers

Question: Does this bipod actually pan or not
Answer: As the description says, it pans 15 degrees. So, yes but not much. You need to be pretty much on target and the slight amount of pan will let you fine tune your aim. I will say, though, that for what I use it for, I really like this bipod. Sturdy, legs can fold either forward or back, and with no leg retaining springs, it's very low profile and just looks good.
Question: Can the quick detach lever lock be tightened down? When the lever is all the way in it's tightest position it still has significant play
Answer: Yes, you will have to tighten the screw with an allen wrench on the lever. You might have to play with the adjustment some to get it to your liking because I had the same issue. Once you get it where you like it i would suggest backing out the screw and count the number of rotations and re-install it with a little blue locktite to prevent it from backing out over time.
Question: Does this work on a Anderson manufacturing AR
Answer: It will work with any standard 1913 Picatinny Rail.
Question: i have a ar556 ..How much of the pic does this use? I m concerned as I purchased a bipod but my hand does not fit comfortably behind the bipod
Answer: Just under 1 1/4". 3 grooves. 4 "high spots" between grooves. I have a vertical grip behind mine with room to spare. If I didn't have the vertical grip, there would be plenty of room for my hand. I prefer the vertical grip over grabbing onto picatinny rail, which is a little hard on the hand, in my opinion. You shouldn't have any issues. I really like this bipod.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the height adjustable to
Answer: It goes from 6 to 8 inches--great mount and works really well.
Question: Will it fit a M&P
Answer: I believe it fits on any Quad rail-really like the Quick Disconnet-I`ve had mine on my AR for about a year with no problems.
Question: Would this be a good bipod for an armalite ar - 10? sturdy enough to hold the extra weight of an ar
Answer: I wish I had some fancy credentials for you but suffice to say I am 53 and have been shooting since I was 7. This bi-pod is my 3rd. I have shot .223/5.56 and .308/7.62X51 off it. Although I do not have an AR-10 platform I do use it on an M1A with good results. The Pros: The quick attach system is very solid and easy to use. No fumbling with shaky parts that won't hold in place or as of yet, come loose when shooting. The side to side swing and left to right roll variables are smooth and have a good feel to them. The main legs also come down smooth and easy and stay in place. On the main legs the springs have an adjustment to remove some of the tension. I however am pleased with the factory tension so I have not adjusted those. When pre-loading the bi-pod before the shot it feels strong and gives one the sense of quality. The Cons: At first impression when I extended the legs out they felt a bit loose. I feel the tolerance could have been tightened up a bit. This is of course is at full extension. At notch 1 and 2 the bi-pod still feels strong. The second item I was not impressed with was the leg locking and release mechanism. Although it has not failed it does not give me a warm confidence. I would have preferred a spring loaded button pull out type lock or a slide lock. Something that is seated in place. A bump or knock on the lever of the current release and the leg will retract. I guess if a person was in a combat type situation the quick deployment and rapid retract would be useful. With all this said, the price was right on this bi-pod and for the money it is an excellent deal. I believe that it would hold up on your AR-10 just fine. I am not displeased with mine and enjoy shooting off it. It works well. The pros and cons I mentioned are strictly my opinion and you may feel differently.
Question: Do the legs fold under the rifle when not in use
Answer: They fold forward under the rifle
