Answer:	It needs a picatinny/weaver rail to mount on.

Answer:	You should not have a problem. That was the reason bought this item. I also have a scope on my AR and 45 off set works perfect as a back up

Answer:	I put it on my semi auto 12 ga and it worked fine. No adjustment even needed. Accurate at 70 yards. Did loosen up after 2 rounds but re-tightened it and had no further problem. Fired about 20 slug rounds after re-tightening. Good quik reaction red dot sight.
Question:	Would it work on a shotgun
Answer:	The pouch is about 8 inches long. I just checked a butter knife and it was definitely too long to fit.

Answer:	Absolutely not at all, the optic is secured by a screw. There is no tape at all on this red dot sight.

Answer:	Yes a handful of times, would have used it more if ammo wasn't so hard to get. What I did was used a laser bore sight to get it sighted in and then had to make just a small adjustment at the range. It has held zero and makes my 9mm carbine very accurate, literally putting shots on the other shots and cutting a large hole in the target.
Question:	I got the sight, the quality seems to be solid. But the reticle is not to be very sharp with bleeding second image next to the main reticle. Is it ok
Answer:	Thank you for your order. Was the reticle switch fully locked into place? Sometimes if it's not clicked and fully you will see half of both images. Make sure there is a solid click when you switch reticles. If it is still an issue, I will take care of the problem. Thank you
Question:	will I need a riser to use with A2 front sights
Answer:	I didn't. I installed directly to my flat top rail (forged into AR upper) and the reflex sight co-witnessed beautifully with my rear MBUS and A2. The A2 post lined up nicely with the bottom of the reticle. I was able to "pre-zero" at home and had the sight zeroed perfectly within 5 rounds at the range.

Elevation adjustment

The DDHB includes the required hex wrench to adjust your elevation.  The elevation is based upon the target movement.  For example, adjusting "up" means the target moves up, not the reticle.

Windage adjustment

The DDHB windage can be adjust using the included hex wrench.  As with the elevation, the windage is based upon the target movement. For example, adjusting "right" means the target moves right, not the reticle.

Fade adjustment & battery

The rotary knob serves three functions: 

• Retical color selector (red or green)
• Fade adjustment (brighness)

Rotary dial fade adjustment

With the rotary adjustment knob, the user can choose the brightness intensity and between red and green reticles.



The knob also contains the CR20132 battery which is included in the package for your convenience.

Set screw included for zero locking

Using the smaller hex wrench included with the package, you can set the zero lock, only if needed. *highlighted by the green circle in the right picture.

The DDHB zero set screw should only be used if the zero is not holding.  If needed, you can turn it 1-2 times clockwise to further lock the zero, only if it is not holding.

The set screw should never be turned until it is "tightened".  It is a free floating screw and you can risk damaging the unit if turned more than 1-2 times clocwise.

Answer:	It's in the instructions, you should have a good 3-5 inches of eye relief. So find your natural hold and cheek weld then place the red dot 3-5 inches away from your eye on the rail

Question:	The reticles are very blurry. Is there some sort of protective film on the sight out of the box, does it need cleaning, or is it just a bad sight
Answer:	This may seem like a dumb question, but have you asked another person to view the reticle pattern(s) that appear blurry. It is very common for those with even mild astigmatism to notice irregular reflections of the reticle pattern (star like pattern instead of a clean circular dot being the most common example). This seems to be more pronounced for some people where entry level optics are concerned. If you and another person (ideally with clear vision) both observe a blurry reticle, then is could be a small bit of dust or something obfuscating the projector source's light pattern (or potential defect). Not sure what intensity setting you have it on, but I've found the first setting to be very bright and the higher settings (level 3-5) for both red and green to be too intense for indoor and even too bright for outside daylight conditions. It would have to be very bright outside or I'd need a pair of sunglasses to clearly view the the highest setting #5. In other words, the reticle looks blurry to me when I have it cranked up to too high of a setting (more isn't always better). I'd recommend setting the reticle to the dot pattern on level 1 intensity for either color. Relax your eyes and don't try to focus on the dot (distortion of your eyeball shape isn't helpful here). Just look at a point relatively distant (more than 10 ft. away) with the dot in your dominant eye path (keeping both eyes open). These are all things you may already be well aware of but could help others depending on experience level. I've known a few folks that have mild astigmatism that see a blurry star with most low tier red dot optics, but had no blurry star issues when they looked through a certain made in the USA brand's ($$$) red dot (reticle was round with crisp edges).

Answer:	Nothing against this optic, but very few will hold up to that punishment. The only company that I know for sure will warranty a red dot on the 460/500 is Burris, and they claim their Fastfire will hold up to that recoil impulse. Leupold may also, but not sure. I have one of these, and have used it on a 22LR, and it works well for that, but I don't think it would survive long on an X frame..for reference I do also own both a 460 and a 500, so I am familiar with the recoil on them.
