Question:	How will this work on a 12 gauge shotgun
Answer:	It will work as a red dot usually works. I've got a small handful of these mounted on .458 Socom, .450 Bushmaster, and even a 12.7x42 (Beowulf) but no shotgun. These little buggers, for the price, have not let me down. I'm guessing if they hold for what I've got them on, they should work for your shotgun as well. Don't hesitate to tell me I'm wrong if it doesn't hold, but mount it properly and securely and I'm betting you'll like it. Best regards.

Answer:	I haven't had a chance to test one yet, but from what I understand this generation of Sightmark reflex have great parallax correction beyond. I'll post an update once I have get one out to the range. - Jared @ Coconut Camp

Answer:	No. It has an auto-off feature, but no auto-on.
Question:	fit a G2c with a mount
Answer:	it will attach to anything with a picatinny rail, but I would not recommend putting it on a G2c.
Question:	Is the lens can shatter from airsoft BBs
Answer:	Will the lens shatter if shot by a bb? Not unless you consistently get in the lens. It would also depend on how far away and many other factors, but probably not.

Battery Compartment

The reticle selector dial is on the outside of the battery compartment. There is an 'R' and a 'G' position; R for red, G for green, the colors of the reticles. There is no actual on/off switch.

Windage / Elevation Adjustment

Adjust the reticle accordingly by changing the elevation & windage adjustments until the reticle is zeroed on the point of impact of the bullet.

Answer:	No idea about 12 gauge. I put it on my 300 BO with no problems.

Question:	will it hold up to a 460 S&W
Answer:	Nothing against this optic, but very few will hold up to that punishment. The only company that I know for sure will warranty a red dot on the 460/500 is Burris, and they claim their Fastfire will hold up to that recoil impulse. Leupold may also, but not sure. I have one of these, and have used it on a 22LR, and it works well for that, but I don't think it would survive long on an X frame..for reference I do also own both a 460 and a 500, so I am familiar with the recoil on them.

The DDHT fits on 1913 standard mil-spec rails and requires the brackets to be tightened once properly placed on the rail section.  



Uses two allen screws and wrench (included) to tighten.

Using the smaller hex wrench included with the package, you can set the zero lock, only if needed.



Attention: The DDHT zero set screw should only be used if the zero is not holding.  If needed, you can turn it 1-2 times clockwise to further lock the zero, only if it is not holding.



The set screw should never be turned until it is "tightened".  It is a free floating screw and you can risk damaging the unit if turned more than 1-2 times clocwise.

Elevation adjustment

The DDHT includes the required hex wrench to adjust your elevation.  The elevation is based upon the target movement.  For example, adjusting "up" means the target moves up, not the reticle.

Windage adjustment

The DDHT windage can be adjust using the included hex wrench.  As with the elevation, the windage is based upon the target movement. For example, adjusting "right" means the target moves right, not the reticle.

Fade adjustment & battery

Answer:	It just means that the red dot will not be visible to the human eye on those settings. They are meant to be used with night vision. That way the dot does not illuminate your night vision too much.
Question:	What's the mounting height on this? 40mm
Answer:	I don't have a spec on the unit, but if I measure it with a ruler, it looks like 37.5mm to the pointy part (sides) of the rail. That's probably 40mm to the bottom of the mounting area. It provides a perfect co-witness to the iron sights of an AR-15.
Question:	What is different between this an the less expensive ones? What makes this one worth more
Answer:	Digital switch, submersible, and much larger longer lasting cr2 battery, it's well worth the cost, this sight works great on my ruger ar556 l, it's held zero for 600 rounds since I installed and battery has lasted that long and still good
