Answer:	They are just regular turtle based legs. They will have a bit of resistance when collapsed or when moved into their respective spots. I always just grab the inside leg and the outside and pull them in separate directions. They all should also have a notch in which they lock in place once opened all the way.

Answer:	I don’t see why not!! From the images I pulled up on the jts ak12 because I’m not too familiar with it.

Answer:	The optics (light source and mirror) of this sight are contained internally, whereas the reflective element of the reflex sight is exposed to dust, etc. The reflex sight is very slightly lighter. The RDS-25 is supposed to come with an adjustable riser (but mine did not).

Answer:	Mine did come in a box but with nothing but the red dot; no padding, manual, batteries, tool, cloth etc. Its also worthless because when it’s on the brightest setting the red dot is almost impossible to see indoors - In low light. Answer:	Nothing against this optic, but very few will hold up to that punishment. The only company that I know for sure will warranty a red dot on the 460/500 is Burris, and they claim their Fastfire will hold up to that recoil impulse. Leupold may also, but not sure. I have one of these, and have used it on a 22LR, and it works well for that, but I don't think it would survive long on an X frame..for reference I do also own both a 460 and a 500, so I am familiar with the recoil on them.

Answer:	It claims to be a 4 MOA dot. 4MOA means 4 minute of angle. Each MOA is very close to being 1" at 100yds. Meaning this dot would cover 4"of the target at 100yds, 2" at 50yds, 1" at 25 yds, 8" at 200yds and so on.

Answer:	It will work as a red dot usually works. I've got a small handful of these mounted on .458 Socom, .450 Bushmaster, and even a 12.7x42 (Beowulf) but no shotgun. These little buggers, for the price, have not let me down. I'm guessing if they hold for what I've got them on, they should work for your shotgun as well. Answer:	NO...a dovetail is an 11mm mount system common on a 22lr and are usually cut into the receiver itself. This is designed to fit a weaver or picatinny rail (which are in the 20mm range) which is an actual rail added to a gun.
Question:	How well does this hold zero on an AR
Answer:	Holds zero just fine after 300 rounds of 5.56. Does not hold zero and walks off point of aim after 300 rounds of 7.62x39. It's surprisingly robust for a $20 sight and great for range plinking, but wouldn't suggest using it in a "set it & forget it" config or for hunting without zeroing it first.

Answer:	Absolutely ! This occupies a very small portion of a full-length upper rail. Your back up sights are at the ends of that rail. With the tall mount it perfectly co-witness's with flip-up sights. I chose the UTG slim BUISs.

Answer:	I have not used the 22 but I can say the 30 is made of fantastic quality compared to some of the other red dot sights I think its amazing. It is very accurate and the red dot is very easy to see at many different light levels.

Answer:	You say that the auto on/off is activated only after I turn it on. Then, after an hour it will go off. When I pick it up again, it will go on. So, how long does it have to be off before I need to turn it on again with the switch. If what you say is true, I would only need the switch once, and that would be to turn it on. From then on, every time I put it down it would go off in an hour, and every time after that I pick it up, it would come on. So ... which is it? Is it auto on/off, or is it only auto off?.

Answer:	the vigilante appears to have a standard picatinny rail with one slot for mounting, and this sight only needs one slot. there is no technical reason why this sight shouldn't or wouldn't work on a handgun.

2 MOA Dot Reticle

The daylight bright red dot is easy to see and paints targets regardless of lighting conditions or background.

The key thing to remember when shooting with the RDS-22 red dot is to keep both of your eyes open! Shooting with both eyes open allows you to take full advantage of your peripheral vision to get on target very quickly. Eye placement is not critical. As long as you can see the dot, you'll hit your target!

Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The RDS-22 Red Dot incorporates elevation and windage dials with audible clicks. Each small click will move the point-of-impact one Minute of Angle. 1 MOA will closely correspond to one inch at 100

Question:	Is top part (lens+metal) attached to base part with 2-sided tape (allegedly how it is done on generic version sold on amazon
Answer:	Absolutely not at all, the optic is secured by a screw. There is no tape at all on this red dot sight.
Question:	Has anyone actually used this at the range
Answer:	Yes a handful of times, would have used it more if ammo wasn't so hard to get. What I did was used a laser bore sight to get it sighted in and then had to make just a small adjustment at the range. It has held zero and makes my 9mm carbine very accurate, literally putting shots on the other shots and cutting a large hole in the target.
Question:	I got the sight, the quality seems to be solid. But the reticle is not to be very sharp with bleeding second image next to the main reticle. Is it ok
Answer:	Thank you for your order. Was the reticle switch fully locked into place? Sometimes if it's not clicked and fully you will see half of both images. Make sure there is a solid click when you switch reticles. If it is still an issue, I will take care of the problem. Thank you
Question:	will I need a riser to use with A2 front sights
Answer:	I didn't. I installed directly to my flat top rail (forged into AR upper) and the reflex sight co-witnessed beautifully with my rear MBUS and A2. The A2 post lined up nicely with the bottom of the reticle. I was able to "pre-zero" at home and had the sight zeroed perfectly within 5 rounds at the range.

Elevation adjustment

The DDHB includes the required hex wrench to adjust your elevation.  The elevation is based upon the target movement.  For example, adjusting "up" means the target moves up, not the reticle.

Windage adjustment

The DDHB windage can be adjust using the included hex wrench.  As with the elevation, the windage is based upon the target movement. For example, adjusting "right" means the target moves right, not the reticle.

Fade adjustment & battery

The rotary knob serves three functions: 

• Retical color selector (red or green)
• Fade adjustment (brighness)
• Battery compartment for CR2032 batter (included)

Rotary dial fade adjustment

With the rotary adjustment knob, the user can choose the brightness intensity and between red and green reticles.



The knob also contains the CR20132 battery which is included in the package for your convenience.

Set screw included for zero locking

Using the smaller hex wrench included with the package, you can set the zero lock, only if needed. *highlighted by the green circle in the right picture.

The DDHB zero set screw should only be used if the zero is not holding.  If needed, you can turn it 1-2 times clockwise to further lock the zero, only if it is not holding.

The set screw should never be turned until it is "tightened".  It is a free floating screw and you can risk damaging the unit if turned more than 1-2 times clocwise.

Answer:	It might work for anything over 100 yds. But it works for 100 yds and less.
Question:	Why cant this item ship to my location. Im in Southern California
Answer:	Because California is afraid of anything that looks like a firearm. Just try to read thru CA Penal code Part 6 Title 4 § 30715 (2019). These folks are crazy.
Question:	I live in CA and listing says it cannot be shipped to my address. Is there a reason for that
Answer:	I don’t believe this to be a legality issue, the Romeo 4 can be shipped here along with most others. Romeo 5 and Nikon Tactical can not for some reason. I got the Romeo 5 6 months ago and it shipped here. Screw amazon and order from sig or another retailer.

Answer:	Yes it will stay Zeroed on an AR-15. We have several mounted on Everything from 5.56 7” pistol, .300 blk pistols , carbines. Including car guns and 3 gun rifles. They hold zero even with hard use and frequent barrel dumps. Best red dot scope for the $$
