The solvent seems extremely powerful when I have used it in the bore of my Winchester Model 70 Featherweight. After a competition match the famous Bill Wilson takes the grips off and drops his .45 in a bucket of CLP to soak. It's pretty messy after the first few shots! Then he puts it away for a few days before another match. |

| Answer: | Yes, it's great for bore cleaning, however it does not remove copper that may build up in a new bore. I use a little copper removal solvent during break-in and use this product after the bore is broken in. Once a bore is broken in removing all traces of copper is not necessary. |

| Answer: | Ingredients aren't listed on bottle but it seems to be water based but not 100% sure. It suds up when sprayed on and has no odor. Use it on my rifles and pistols and works great. |

| Answer: | I have cleaned striker channel using various gun cleaners with a q-tip no problem. I have even used clp just be sure to dry as much as you can with a q-tip. If you are talking about getting some in striker channel like over spray I wouldn't worry. If you get a lot in, the striker on most striker fired pistols are easy enough to remove anyway to dry. |

| Answer: | no oil in this cleaner which is the smartest way to clean you firearm. you only want to slightly lubricate very specific parts. This is great stuff, but buy your oil separately! |

| Answer: | It is actually an alcohol based solvent. The main ingredient is diethylene glycol monobutyl ether. This is also known as Eastman DB Solvent.
