Question:	Is shelf big enough for handgun
Answer:	I made one out of plywood and covered it with a piece of carpet. Now it holds 5 handguns and all my ammo is on the floor of the safe.
Question:	Is there a fire rating on this safe
Answer:	FYI the way most safes (the cheap ones anyway) achieve fire resistance for the contents is to line the inside with basically gypsum board, i.e., sheet rock, which has a moisture content which, when the safe is heated in a fire, releases the moisture inside the safe to keep the papers from turning to ash. Rather obviously, you don't want moisture in a gun safe under any circumstances (not much you can do about the leakage from the firemen's hoses either, but that's another story). Some expensive gun safes do have a level of fire protection, no doubt through nonmoisture producing insulation, but that's all I know; see Browning's (or others') top line safes re that.
Question:	would this safe fit 2 rifles with scope? (ar15, howa 243) and a shotgun
Answer:	I have 1 ar rifle and 1 18.5 shotgun in mine and its a pain to get the rifle to fit. my ar has a scope and the only way I can close the door is if I have the rifle sitting diagonally. I would say this safe would be great for shotguns but probably opt for a larger one for a AR15 rifle with scope
Question:	how can I mount this to a wall
Answer:	2 Rifles with optics.. you have to turn them sidways, else optics wont fit and door wont close.. the Picture with AR15 grip facing the door is a lie.. the door wont close with an AR15 placed like that. you have to turn it sideways.. I could only fit my .308 with optics and AR15 with optics (NO magazine on AR.. it wont fit with a magazine at all..)
