Answer:	I love the glasses but unfortunately when traveling I left them in a restaurant out of town. I don’t remember if the had a spring hinge, but I like them so we’ll i plan to order another pair.

Answer:	The description says that they are 100% protected and UV400. They aren’t my favorite pair for really bright sun. But for the money they are nice. I wear bifocal sunglasses every day.
