Question:	What’s the difference between yours and normal working noise cancelling headphones
Answer:	It likely depends on how hot and for how long. I have grabbed a few hot trays with them for a short period of time and have grabbed a metal coffee roaster drum out of 450+ degree oven. They aren't as ideal as good ol' thick oven mitts and do transmit a bit of heat but certainly do the job.

Design notes

Having always struggled with loose cables and sloppy tie-down systems, we designed and range tested the AMHC to present the user with as many options as possible. We always use headsets with integrated comm, so we needed a easy place to store excess cables when not needed - so this was the ultimate solution to retain quick access at all times.



During periods of low light shooting, or rail mounted NVG shooting, the ability to throw a light up on a piece of rail was a super hot feature during our last night shoot at the range. The expanded velcro area and rigidity of the piece created the stability needed to mount lights such as the Insight M3 and Surefire X300 without causing too much weight to shift your ear pro.











 

Universal & Proper Fit

Our special design was perfected on the range, with the length being exactly right to prevent hot spots above the ears and on the temples. Longer copies made by others will cause you trouble!



 

Installation Help

Try flattening the hearing protection as must as possible across your thighs or knees, then use your hands to wrap the cover around the band and fasten the velcro starting at one end and working towards the other. Make sure to keep the headset as flat as possible to prevent bunching of the fabric.

Question:	Why do these have a list price of $39.99 when nowhere on the internet, even the manufacturers website, are they listed for that much? Seems deceptive
Answer:	I dont see why not. I use it for shooting but plan to explore it's functionality in other areas as well. It has the amplification feature that can be controlled with the volume knob and on the highest setting can pick up sound from a surprising distance. Once a sound becomes over 82db it deadens the sound to a comfortable level. I don't have experience with their ability to deaden the specific sounds of woodworking equipment, so I'm not sure how they will handle some of the higher pitched sounds a saw can make. Although I would anticipate it would be fine since they handle a gunshot.

Answer:	its ok but the audio jack is not standard. its more lik 4mm-3.8mm useless unless you install a new jack. a standard jack is 3.5mm

Question:	I see these are designed and engineered in the US, but where are they made
Answer:	Yes these are way better. The Zohan requires you to tear off the original foam pads which permanently alters your muffs. Then they come with 3M backing to adhere which may not be a permanent upgrade. The Walkers set snaps in place as a complete unit with no tearing required. A lot easier to install and you can always switch back to original if desired. As far as the gel itself it is near identical on both sets.

Answer:	No, the pacaging says the gel pads are NOT Compatible with Razor Compact series. However it does says compatible to Razor (regular?) I placed them on my Xcel 500, fit feels great.
