Question:	What is meant by a low earcup profile
Answer:	The package comes with a 39 inch connecting cord, with a 3.5 mm jack on both ends. These are the standard earphone jacks, and it plugs right into my ipod and the earphone jack on my Midland GXT-1000 GMRS/FRS two-way radios. I listen to music while I mow the lawn. As long as you turn on the earmuffs, but keep the volume level at its lowest, you can hear music without the microphones picking up ambient noise.

Answer:	I've used mine for yard care and with them on they block out the noise of a lawnmower, weed-eater, edger and leaf blower(with or without having the power turned on). They work great and turned on they allow you to hear what's going on around you like traffic on the street, someone trying to get your attention or a dog coming up to you. All without letting the noise of whatever lawn equipment your using bothering you or interfering. The headphone jack is 3.5mm which is your normal headphone jack size.

Answer:	If the batteries die or you leave them on and forget(as I have done) They will function as regular ear protection but they will lose the ability to amplify regular sounds. However, remember, the inside lid has a zipper section that would hold a box that would be 6 x 6 x 2. That inside zipper section is a great asset. Answer:	Yes. The product states any noise over 85dbs will activate the headphones. The average wife nagging levels range from 87dbs to 120dbs (in extreme circumstances). Unfortunately this will also blockout the t.v. until the nagging stops. Reducing the wife nagging time ( or WNT) can be reduced by simply nodding and stating “yes dear” in a calm and clear voice.
