Answer:	My S.O. snores rather loud and I simply use ear plugs (there are actually several varieties out there that reduce 34db as well) so I can comfortably move around as needed. I wouldn't get these for sleeping.

Answer:	They were very comfortable wearing them for 8-10 hrs a day for about 6 months. Around that time I noticed they started to become very uncomfortable. Turns out the bottom half of the cushions go from very soft when new to very hard due to skin oils. I found a 3M manufacturer with this explanation. Can't imagine why this sort of defect hasn't been resolved for ear muffs in general, but since I have to wear them to continue working from home with toddlers I'll just be ordering another pair and try to keep them a little cleaner I guess. Maybe that will extend their life before I have to replace them.

Answer:	Yes, greatly-muffled sound but you'll still hear, especially loud and abrasive noises. You'll still be able to hear the smoke detector going off, etc.

Answer:	Having bought a number of LED headlamps, brightness is important. First, 360 over 315 or even 260 isn't a big draw. Second, the important factors are reliability and battery life. Some manufacturers do better than others, top ones Petzl and Black Diamond ... similar to LED household bulb efficiencies (lumens/watt). But let's say they are all equal in efficiency. This means a 360 lumen lamp will use much more than a 260, so if the 260 is 'plenty good', fewer batteries to buy. Think of this as a battery eater ... like razor blades, film (dating myself), printer cartridges. It may not be the razor or camera that is the dollar drain, it's the batteries. Even if you buy a 360, it should have a lower setting that is usable because your batteries will be eaten slower.

Answer:	Yes these are way better. The Zohan requires you to tear off the original foam pads which permanently alters your muffs. Then they come with 3M backing to adhere which may not be a permanent upgrade. The Walkers set snaps in place as a complete unit with no tearing required. A lot easier to install and you can always switch back to original if desired. As far as the gel itself it is near identical on both sets.

Answer:	It likely depends on how hot and for how long. I have grabbed a few hot trays with them for a short period of time and have grabbed a metal coffee roaster drum out of 450+ degree oven. They aren't as ideal as good ol' thick oven mitts and do transmit a bit of heat but certainly do the job.

Answer:	yes, although you might risk damaging the gloves with repeated strikes against the blade. the gloves are very durable, but not moisture resistant. so i would not suggest using them to slice anything with lots of juices.

Answer:	Hello Raymond, according to lab tests the extreme heat of 932 F has a threshold of 5 seconds. The sensation you feel in that 5 seconds is warmth. There is no sudden heat but rather a slow increase in warmth. It's like a built in safety feature so you'll know if you are exceeding the maximum heat with enough time to respond safely. In one of our tests we held a potato at 500 F for 4 minutes. Our hands were warm but very comfortable. Keep the extreme heat safe and in short doses until you have experience with the gloves.
