Question: what is the width of the grip
Answer: Yes, it is bpa and pfoa free, also has FDA certified.
Question: Under description it says spidercam sharman folder......why
Answer: What I do with this air fryer, is I take out the inner pot and wash in the sink (I don't have a dishwasher btw). It cleans easy with soap. I would not use any hard sponges for the inside of the pot. Also, to clean the outside, I just wipe down with a wet sponge or cloth. It is a non-stick material.
Question: Does it come with the clip tip up
Answer: There is a cookbook of 100 recipes. The recipes are introduced in detail, but you can adjust it slightly according to your taste.
Question: What is the blade length
Answer: It is not hot and will heat normally when cooking.

User questions & answers

Question: is this assisted open
Answer: Definitely too small. We are empty-nesters but I love to use a crock pot or slow cooker. (FYI- I think older crock pots cook slower than new slow cookers. Not sure about new crock pots though). A 6 qt would be really good for your famil6 size. Even would have leftovers for lunch or a second meal. I’m looking for a larger one right now.
Question: What type of locking mechanism does this blade have
Answer: Yes, it's non stick, and very easy to clean. I was amazed by the simplicity and convenience of this air fryer. It is not only easy to operate, easy to make a delicious meal with 11 preset menus, but also very easy to clean. I have been using this air flyer for 2 weeks and so far I am so happy with it. It has completely freed up my hands and I can clean up my desk without much effort after every big meal.
Question: Does it come in a box with all the Spyderco paperwork
Answer: I've only cooked a 2lbs pork chop, steaks and chicken nuggets. 10 minutes for the pork chop, 8 on steaks, and 6 on chicken nuggets. I find other air fryer like Ultrean and TaoTronics and others, they all needs more times for cooking.
Question: Is this a chinese product? Thx
Answer: Yes, it will. That is a really nice feature. Love this Whousewe air fryer, good quality and useful.

User questions & answers

Question: Is the blade really hollow ground, or is it the new full flat ground version? And is it 154CM or S30V steel
Answer: Its 3.6" in total with a 3.1" cutting edge.
Question: Is this knife to heavy to carry as an dec knife
Answer: Slow cook goes to warm but sear will shut off completely. I sear alot ... mostly chicken and fish ... and then go do something else. I never have to worry about coming back to burned chicken or flames coming out of the cooker, and the lid keeps it warm for the next step in cooking.
Question: Any one know if this most recent release still has the S30V blade
Answer: Ron, as many of the people responding to your question have done, I purchased the 6 Qt. as well. I often downsize my recipes to a serving for 2 or 3 and a great cook book for these recipes is America's Test Kitchen, "Cooking for Two, 2012". There are slow cooker recipes that work great in the larger slow cooker and come out just fine. I purchased this specific Cuisinart because of its oblong shape - makes it easy to cook meat or chicken on skewers. And, with the larger size you are prepared for the eventual times you want to cook a roast or larger meal. Hope this was helpful.
Question: Howdy, is this one DLC coated as well, like the bigger XL 4" version? Thanks in advance
Answer: On Slow Cook the manual states High is 212* and low is 200*. In my experience even on high this model doesn’t reach 200*. If a recipe calls for slow cook on high, I use the roast functions set to 250*

Question: Can i legally clip this in my pocket as an edc in the state of california? i heard somewhere that the blade has to be >= 3 inches
Answer: Half inch. .053 fits the hand great.
Question: What is the blade length
Answer: It says correct name - Spyderco Shaman Folder
Question: This knife apparently contains a marble, is a marble, is a ball, contains a ball, and is a balloon. Can someone tell me how they MacGyver'd a knife blade into all of those components
Answer: Thank you for your question. It seems like these will come with the pocket clip in a tip-up carry position, but I'm not sure if that is true for all examples of this knife. The pocket clip is easily adjusted to 4 different carry positions.

User questions & answers

Question: Has anyone compared this knife to the Spyderco Ambitious? What did you think
Answer: Exactly.....don't worry about that nasty serrated blade. Worry about the marble that's part of the mechanism. A kid could really get hurt on that marble.
Question: So it will be in the original Spyderco box if I order it
Answer: The blade on mine is hollow ground and 154CM steel. I'm not sure when they made the switch to S30V steel, but I would guess that it was a couple of years ago since I bought mine during the period in which they were advertising one steel on the website, and listing another on the spec sheet included with the knife.I still love the knife, and carry it about 80% of the time. A SOG Aegis comes out when I don't want the weight of the Manix2 (walking, biking, wearing sweatpants, etc.).
Question: I heard that Spyderco is put jimping on the spine and finger choil of this knife. Is amazon selling this version? (Not talking about S30V but 440C
Answer: Although it is a bit large and on the heavier side, it is still manageable enough to be carried every day
Question: Is this the new model with BD1 steel instead of 440c
Answer: Yes
Question: My spyderco has black liners and black compression lock. There is no chrome coloring at all. Is this a counterfeit
Answer: It is indeed coated with the DLC. Tough finish! Cheers!
Question: What color is the pocket clip
Answer: No, no spring assist. There is a slight detent that holds it closed. Once you open it slightly past the detent the blade can easily flick open all the way. The action is very smoothe and the blade locks up tight.
Question: Flooding knife typo in the title? And does this model come with red loctite on the screw
Answer: The lock is interior to the frame. It blocks the base of the blade when opened. It easily pushes aside to return blade to closed.
Question: Is this an authentic spyderco knive
Answer: Nop, just the box with a little plastic bag with the knife inside!

Question: I have the manix2 class xl satin finish blade what does the mark left of the golden Colorado stamp mean
Answer: The answer to your question is a little more complicated than you would think. When an item is fulfilled by Amazon they are pulling from a stock they have on hand. If it is fulfilled by a different company selling on Amazon, then they are pulling from their inventory on hand. If there is a product change it depends on what version Amazon or those other companies have on hand. I reviewed the Spyderco Cats we have in stock and they have 440C steel blades without any jimping. I hope this helps.
Question: How still is the lock spring ? I just got one recently, and mine is kinda stiff. Does it need to be broken in more, or was yours softer to begin with
Answer: It's 440c. I'm not familiar with the BD1 steel but I can say that the 440 has exceeded my expectations for anything you can get for this price.
Question: In the picture it looks as if the lock release is clear. However in customer photos it seems as though it is black. Can anyone tell me which it is
Answer: It probably is the compression lock should be chrome I only have 1 blacked out para 3 but I used to have paramilitary 2 blacked out as well and it was the same

The Manix 2 XL

The Manix 2 XL is an oversized version of the Manix 2 with a blade that is just under four-inches. The blade is locked open using Spyderco's patented Ball Bearing Lock. When opened, the ball bearing moves forward onto the blade's ramp where it is wedged, locking the blade safely open. The blade is CPM S30V, ground full-flat and features jimping above the oversized 14mm Spyderco Round Hole. The liners inside the G-10 handle extend beyond the scales, creating a scalloped pattern around the handle's perimeter for additional grip. This feature keeps the knife from slipping out in the hand and works well with gloves. The liners serve a double purpose by adding rigidity and lightweight strength to the handle. A three-screw clip can be positioned ambidextrously, tip-up for comfort and pocket carry. The knife also has a large lanyard pipe to protect various types of cords or thongs.

Question: Is this picture of the knife profile-shap-indents accuarte
Answer: The blade steel is VG-10.
Question: Could you confirm what steel is on this knife? is it cpm s35vn or cpm-s30v
Answer: It’s VG-10 steel.
Question: Is this the Native 5, or the older version? The picture shows the earlier version
Answer: Seki,Japan
Question: is the photo of the old native? Native 5 is full flat grind, screw construction and 4 positional clip
Answer: I own both now. Had a "Loose" issue with the Cat, sent it back, and got a good one. The Amb. is just a cool looking small folder. It is MUCH more beefy than the Cat. I'm sure the Amb. is a stronger knife, but for a knife this size, the Cat is more than strong enough. Overall, I would sat the machine work on the Cat is better, but not by much. I like the feel of the Cat a little better, being it's choiled like the money Spyderco's. I like both steels, really....The 440 C seems "Toothier",(It wont take as fine of an edge as 8CR13MoV, but it seems a bit harder). I like both really. I think the Cat, for it's size and build, makes a little more sense than the Amb, but BOTH are really great knives, regardless of price!

Native 5

Spyderco’s Native Lightweight has long been the go-to cutting tool for savvy tactical knife users. The fifth-generation Native 5 version of this design raises the bar even further, combining an ultra-lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle, a low-profile black finish, and an aggressive SpyderEdge cutting edge with the advanced engineering of the Native 5 platform. This knife’s full-flat-ground blade is machined from CPM S30V powder metallurgy stainless steel and has a durable, non-reflective Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating. Its SpyderEdge cutting edge provides extreme cutting power, especially on fibrous materials. It also includes an index-finger choil for a forward-positioned grip that allows enhanced control during detailed cutting tasks.

A highly evolved back lock mechanism—one of the defining features of the Native 5 design—locks the blade securely in the open position and, along with the blade’s Round Hole, allows ambidextrous one-handed opening and closing of the knife.

The linerless injection-molded FRN handle features a deep Bi-Directional Texturing pattern for maximum grip security and includes four sets of threaded stainless steel inserts to mount the reinforced hourglass clip for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side of the knife.
