Answer:	If you look closely when it's opened you will see a long thin bar that kind of acts like a latch. You move it to the side and it allows the blade to be closed. It looks like it's part of the mechanism...but it has a tiny bit of give so that you can move it and it will unblock so you can close the blade. The same type mechanism is on the other side of the dual blade as well.
Question:	How sharp is it
Answer:	It's very sharp. Because of it's design, it's easy to possibly nick yourself. Keep in mind, despite that its designed as a novelty item, it is still a blade.

Answer:	I would not say spring assisted, but you can open it pretty easy with one hand. It has a little lever on the back that you pull with one hand/finger and it pops open pretty fast and locks into place.

Answer:	Machine wash separate by themselves! Then just let air dry. I use a few and then put them in Wash on small load. Cool water fine

Answer:	I happen to love these towels, but the ones shown are the much smaller set of 4, which I also have. In my opinion, they work better than waffle weave. They are very thick and just amazing. I mainly use the “larger” Griot towel and it only takes one towel to completely dry then polish my car with a spray finish. I bought these smaller towels for small jobs, both I highly recommend.

Clip Blade

The clip blade is one of the most common blade types that is used as a multi-purpose blade and is preferred for its versatility. Care Tips for Case Knives

Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel (SS) is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance.

Chrome Vanadium (CV) blades are known for their edge-holding ability and easy re-sharpening. However, they are less resistant to rusting, pitting and discoloration than stainless steel. We recommend keeping a thin film of oil on the blade to maintain the finish.

Sharpening

Blades are honed at an inclusive angle of 35° - 45° from the factory. Maintaining a constant angle, hold the blade 17° - 22° from the surface of a sharpening stone and stroke the blade as if shaving a thin layer from the stone. Repeat the stroking motion along the entire edge of the blade starting at the blade heel and working to the tip. Turn the blade over and repeat the process.

Cleaning

Using a small drop of oil, wipe down the joints, blades, and handles. The inside of knife can be cleaned with cotton-tipped swabs and wooden tooth picks. To remove any adhesive tape on your knife, apply nail polish remover or lighter fluid to a soft cloth to easily remove the residue. Rusting may occur to older knives. Rust spots on older knives should be oiled well and the knife should be allowed to sit for a few days. Carefully, scrape away the rust spot with the tip of a sharp, stiff knife.
