Answer:	It is very snug, only about 2" of the hilt extends out of the sheath. I haven't had any issues with the knife falling out or coming loose. The only issue I had is that if you wear it in the back, you can't use the belt loop for your pants. If your knife has very much of a hilt, it won't fit because it is designed for the knife to be mostly inside the sheath, hence no retaining strap.

Answer:	Absolutely not. This is a Chinese Chef knife. It's not a cleaver in the American usage of the word. This most likely has an 11 degree cutting angle on both sides, give a total of 22 degrees, and weighs under 1 lb. A cleaver designed to cut bone would have something like 20 - 25 degree angles on both sides giving a total of about 45 degrees cutting angle so it''s more durable, and they weigh like 2 - 4 lbs. It WILL go through cartilage, so you can separate ribs with this, along with meat, vegys. You could also cut through small fish bones.
Question:	OK folks....can anybody compare this tanto blade style to the regular shaped blade and tell me iwhich one you like better? I'm debating the purchase
Answer:	Vegetable Cleaver, it's a very thin blade. You can still cut meat though, I use mine to cut extremely thin filets. But do not use it for bones or hard objects or it'll chip.

Answer:	They make this type of knife in both sizes, 7" and 8", so make sure you order the size you want. However, I must add that you will not get a knife that looks like the one pictured. As far as I know, this very Asian shaped knife is only available in Europe. You will get a much squarer shape in the US, with a European style handle. It is still an excellent knife, with a remarkable thin grind. I have both models. The one in the picture I found on Ebay, but the grind is traditional convex. Check out Martin Yan on youtube to see the US model knife in action. I highly recommend both. Good luck.

Answer:	Yes and no. It’s really to heavy. I use mine for rough cut vegetables.. and also chopping Through chicken Bones and or smaller game. As a chef I love this cleaver. But if you want a true vegetable cleaver. Get a lighter Japanese style cleaver.

Answer:	KaBar got a laser engraver last year when the new BK16, BK15, BK17 came out. they started using that instead of rollstamping like they used to. It is a genuine KaBar/Becker product.It is still slightly in the metal...I strip all my Beckers and the three I have with the new laser etching still have visible markings afterwards. You can also use PCB etchant to make it deeper BEFORE you strip it. The ESEE guys have been doing that for years.ETA...they also started using a different style coating...textured black instead of smooth. the new coating is MUCH tougher then the old, looks better too. LOL I still strip it though
Question:	How does it match up to the Sk-5 Blackbird survival knife
Answer:	Blackbird is a better slicer, but it's not as thick as the BK2. Blackbird is my choice of blade between the two, based on superior metal and the way each knife handles. My SK5 did not come very sharp though, so if you're not a guy who can sharpen a knife into a scalpel, you might want to go BK2. However, I have never needed to resharpen my BK5 after getting the right edge on it. S30v steel is pretty awesome.

Answer:	Everybody that keeps saying its kydex, its not it actually glass reinforced nylon wich looks and feels like nylon except its cheaper and dulls your blade overtime. I would recommend the bk22 wich is the same knife ecept it comes with a soft nylon sheath that has a built in pouch or an aftermarket sheath. I got an armatus carry sheath and I'm very happy with the both the knife and sheath.
