Answer:	If you can afford a carving jack why would you even consider buying this ??? don't get me wrong it's a good little knife for the money but it's bulky and not ergonomic at all your hand will hurt after a wile and the blades don't lock like the carving jack . Answer:	This is sad. I am 63 years old and remember when "Schrade" and "Uncle Henry" were brand names of knives you were PROUD to own and showed off to all your friends. Fortunately I do still have one old 'Uncle Henry" old enough to be of good quality. I recall sharpening a knife (Uncle Henry) for our Sgt and when he cut himself with it the doctor (took 12 stitches inside & out to sew him up) said it looked like he had been cut with a scalpel. I bet you couldn't get one of these new knives that sharp.

Look into where the blade goes probably piece of metal touching behind open blade slide piece of metal it left so blade may pass by and close this is done by placing thumb on piece behind blade and pushing to left carefully closing blade when thumb is out of way.
Question:	I had a knife with a belt clip and while wearing it and setting down it would pop open, will that happen with this knife
Answer:	The Flint works just fine. you have to scrape the powdercoat off of the flint before use. The rougher you make the flint's surface the bigger the sparks.

Answer:	Hi there! Blade is stiff as a stone. Unfortunately I dont know what is xacto blade but if you need a flexible one this is not the one for you.

Answer:	Depends on what your carving. The 106 which is the 3'' is perfect for spoons. The extra length is needed to do cuts across the back of the bowl of the spoon. If your unsure of what holds to use when using the knife, I recommend Swedish Carving Techniques, and Spon (by barn the spoon) The smaller 120 my daughter uses but shes 9.

Iconic Design

In 1891 Karl Elsener, the owner of Victorinox, was under contract by the Swiss Army to produce a folding pocket knife to be suitable for use by soldiers for opening canned food and disassembling the Swiss service rifle. Elsener invented a special spring mechanism allowing him to attach the tools on both sides of the handle, using the same spring to hold the tools in place. Question:	will it work with other grades of steel? or just the SAK grade
Answer:	All of these knives seem to come from the factory overly tightened. I've got 14 knives in my collection and on all of them I've had to back out the pivot screw, put a few drops of Tetra gun oil or EWL 2000 on the pivot post and then tighten the pivot screw back in a little at a time. While doing this, I'd check the operation of the blade to make sure it's easy to open and close, but doesn't wobble from side to side. The more I opened and closed it, the easier it got.
