User questions & answers
Question: | Not a question, but a fault I see, the knife pictured in it's sheath is not the 0120, looks like a much smaller one, 0102 woodsman I think. Mixup |
Answer: | I just ordered this assortment pack and got 3 tingles. I hate tingle ones but unfortunately you can't request that they dont send you tingle ones. |
Question: | Is it a real buck knife |
Answer: | It’s not a self tanner, but has a booster that gives you a darker tan |
Question: | I have several buck knifes . I am left handed , is there any chance you might have left handed sheaths |
Answer: | There maybe 1 kind or 2 at most of hot/tingles in this lot. Most don't like tingles, so we have limited them. Hope this helps. Star |
Question: | Is the Buck 120 General really back in full time production? Or is this just a special limited run |
Answer: | I would say yes, but it is not very stable. My cat has never gotten on the top of it because it wobbles when she tries. She love the hole in the bottom, though. She is an average sized cat, so it might be a tight squeeze for a larger than average cat. It also sheds quite a bit. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Which buck fillet knives are made in the usa |
Answer: | The question is from 2014. Today, 2017, the 120 is widely available in the original black and cocobolo handles. I had a black handled 120 for several years in the Army (it was stolen). It was incredibly useful. For hunting, I would carry a smaller knife, perhaps my 119 or a smaller Morakniv (I have several of these inexpensive knives). I have a new 120 General cocobolo dymondwood and am about to order another black phenolic handled 120. The 120 is very useful for building fires, cutting brush, making tinder, and any other larger knife task. It is not a special-purpose knife such as a hunter, fisherman, skinner, or other might need. These tasks usually require a special knife. It is a very tough, well-balanced, good feeling, larger knife. |
Question: | What’s the sheath made of |
Answer: | It has a bronzer in it so it will give you color without tanning, but is not considered a self tanner. |
Question: | Good for saltwater fish |
Answer: | Sorry no |

The 110FG Folding Hunter is Buck's finger grooved version of the classic 110 Folder. User questions & answers
Question: | Hi there, can you tell me what year stamp is the knife on the blade |
Answer: | Closed it is 3 3/8 inches. The blade itself is 2 3/8 inches. This is the smaller of the series. There is also a Buck 112 that is slightly smaller than its big brother, the 110. |
Question: | Does this one come with a brown sheath? I already have 3 110's. I just want a brown sheath which is $29 alone . It'd only be $17½ more for the FG |
Answer: | This is by far the easiest, and it's also very inexpensive and portable. Impossible to make a mistake with something like this--just pull the knife through a few times. There are obviously better ways of sharpening (stones, strops, etc), but this a great way to get the job done fast.http://www.amazon.com/Smiths-PP1-Pocket-Multifunction-Sharpener/dp/B000O8OTNC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1416348764&sr=8-4&keywords=knife+sharpener |
Question: | are these blades detashable to install a different blade |
Answer: | 0.150" |
Question: | Are the finger grooves a plus or a negative |
Answer: | 0.150 Inches |

User questions & answers
Question: | Made in |
Answer: | The premium s30v steel and G-10 handle is the main factor in the pricing of this knife. This knife is also made in a standard 420HC steel and injected nylon handle for low $30's if you are looking for a more entry level price point. Thanks, C&C |
Question: | Amazon says this is a model 503 rws. what does rws stand for? i don't think the buck webpage includes these letters in model number. thanks |
Answer: | It's much thinner than a standard 110. Would imagine that it would be loose in a crossdraw made for a standard 110 |
Question: | What packaging does this come in? Does it come with a case |
Answer: | Buck website says yes and the box it came in said Made in USA. Some of their lower end fixed blades are made in China, but I think all their folders are still made here. |
Question: | What knife do we get the one in the pics or the one in the description picture |
Answer: | My came without any holster? the bigger buck knives (110, 119, 113, 112) usually come with holster, but all on little ones have not. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it come with a sheath |
Answer: | it's just "BUCK 110L USA" at the bottom of the blade... |
Question: | Is this knife made in the USA |
Answer: | A black smooth leather sheath comes with this knife. I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you would buy a knife solely based on the color of the sheath. Why don't you just buy a blinking brown sheath dude? Good Lord! |
Question: | How do you add a pocket clip? What is it called?Thx |
Answer: | No. It is a very good knife, with a lifetime guarantee. I have one that is thirty years old and still as good as ever. The only difference between it and the new one is that it opens more easily, but it has no slop. |
Question: | What kind of steel is it? CPM |
Answer: | They are a plus. A better grip on your knife... whats not to like. |
