Answer:	No, it will only produce about 150 Milliamps, that's not enough to do much on a car battery

Answer:	I use "rechargeable" batteries for my cameras but Ni-MH are all 1.2v and the recommended alkaline batteries are 1.5v. So, are at 80% strength upon initial installation. My 180i consumes battery power so last about a week, 12 AA batteries. So, the battery box has a very large capacity, and can power a camera that is a long distance away. If you install a solar power panel, it will require no battery switch out. The only thing that would be semi usable to this would be lithium AA batteries rated at 1.5 volts versus 1.5 volts and buying 12 of those would cost a lot more. The only thing I questioned Moultrie on was 12 AA batteries in the 180i camera was that is 18 volts, not 12, but confirmed this 12 volt box is compatible.

Question:	How does this battery work in a "standard" feeder with battery contacts in the center and one corner? Does the top protective cover remove
Answer:	I found these very helpful while in school because I could hang them at my bow stands and sat it for 2 feeding times per day for about 4-6 second each feed they would last about a week. I had tons of white oaks so didn't need a whole lot of corn, but if you were relying on it as a sole food source it may be a little small as you would need it to run for more than 4-6 seconds twice a day.

Answer:	I think if something was placed at the bottom of the feeder to only allow the feed to be spread in a small area would work. Keep it simple like a small piece of stove pipe or a coffee can cut to fit.

Answer:	No these are not remote control capable. They are nice feeders for the price, mine only lasted 2 seasons and both had timer failures. Two seasons I feel I got my monies worth.

Answer:	It is metal. the triangle piece is the spinner. I have 3 of these and all 3 have stopped working. I don't recommend this product.

Answer:	There are only specific kinds of feeds that can be used with this product in order not to void the warranty. However, I used the proper feed as stated in the products paperwork and it still doesnt work reliably.

Question:	How far does this directional feeder throw feed
Answer:	20' at the most. I have this mounted about 30" above the water line using lil strike fish pellets about 1/8" in size. Will probably sling corn further. Not a single complaint with this product.

Answer:	Hi from Native Outdoors! This has the new Quick Lock attachment. The part that mounts to the bottom of the bucket acts as the funnel. It should be located inside the feeder where the timer and motor are located.
Question:	How do you hang it up
Answer:	Use mine to feed fish in ponds. I put up two 4 by 4 inch post. On one nearest water I mount a heavy duty counter cabinet swivel. I then mount a long beam on the swivel. I turn the feeder from over the water and rest beam on the second post to fill feeder. After it is filled I turn beam so the feeder is over the water and fasten a safety wire to end of beam to secure beam. This way I get feeders over the water and can just pull up with pickup and fill quickly.
Question:	If this is a directional feeder why couldn't it be used to cast fish food into a pond? Is it for deer only
Answer:	I use this for that reason only. It works wonderful as a pond feeder. I used it for a small pond with hybrid bluegills. It worked so well that I bought another one for my larger pond with bass and bluegill. The timer works well but occasionally the alligator clips vibrate off of the battery.

Answer:	The clap used in that model is best used with thin poles, posts, and thinner trees. It would be hard for it to grasp the rounded edges of our feeders.

Answer:	It opens up pretty far. It is a square hole, so the wider T Stud edges could go in the 90 degree edges at the left and right of the picture as long as that center line to the screw width is not less than the T top to bottom dimension. I have had an issue with the plastic wearing out. My situation is a small square fence rod. So the plastic bends a little going around it. Eventually the lock side will pull through the plastic, and I think I put a washer or reversed it or something and it continued on. I have two of these being taken on and off around every two weeks (since game cameras smoke batteries if triggering a lot at night, in my case rats) and one is like 3 years old and the other maybe 1 year. I am not near the mount until a few days from now, but you may want to edit or post the exact dimensions of your T width and depth from that longer part, and someone can reply back with the opening minimum (the screw to screw point inside the clamp..

Answer:	I got the Deer Feeder Elite, which has the feeder and timer. i bought a Moultrie MFHP12406 6-Volt, 5-Amp Rechargeable Safety Battery. i had a charger already. Any 6-volt cell (lantern type) will also work. and don't forget the corn/feed:) the elite has leg extensions (included) which lifts the barrel 8 feet, so think about adding 50lb of feed, or as i do back the truck up and add to the barrel small bucketfuls. Programmable digital timer

Control how much feed you want to cast and when you want to cast it. Programmable digital timer allows up to six daily feed times. The duration of each feed time can also be set from 1 to 20 seconds.

External power port
