Answer:	I actually returned this product because of misleading description, it sounded like it was a complete trap but it was only the stivky pads, we use the victor m230 ultimate flea trap for our fleas in our home from our two shepherds and I give it 8 stars out of 5 !!! They are the only product that we have found that completely controls the fleas in our home, simply amazing because you can see the hundreds and hundreds of dead fleas stuck to the flea pads and we don't get bit anymore, we tried all chemicals and none worked like these traps and we unfortunatley exposed ourselves to many chemicals before this! The brand you chose might work as well but I don't know from experience, now about small spiders, we treat for spiders outside our home and so I'm not sure if it works as well, but anything that steps on the sticky traps seems to meet their fate! We catch a multitude of insects but mostly fleas. My recommendation is to use one in each room if possible , we put them under our beds too and it even works as a night light.
