Answer:	The assembly is no different than buying any other rod and reel, the reel affixes to the rod and is clamped down by the pressure screw on the lower handle. You extend the rod by pulling each section out, being careful to keep the guides in line. The easiest way to add line to the spool is to run line down the guides, tie it to the spool and reel it onto the reel until full. Remember to apply some tension to the line to get it packed tightly on the spool. It doesn’t need to be a lot of tension, but enough so it wraps tightly.

Answer:	Not as flexible as reg. Pole. But not bad. I purchased one size longer then normal rod to match the flex on my reg. Rod.

Answer:	Didn't think to measure it prior to hanging. As of now though, the eye looks to be 5/8 in. (20mm) from cheek to cheek and 1 1/8 in. (36mm) from head to tail. I filed the top flush but the adze for my head is exactly 2 in deep. Hope that helps.

Answer:	When I purchased this last summer, it was called Hitachi. Same item listing so my guess is it's the same except for name.

Answer:	I would say not really on the Kenai. You dont really want a fly rod for the Kenai for Salmon. For the Kenai I prefer a good quality rod and reel with salmon eggs weighted off the bottom with 4 to 8 oz weights.
