Question:	penn pursuit 6000 or 8000 to go with medium heavy rod
Answer:	It's been some time since I bought the rod. It was advertised as a spinning rod as the add shows but the rod I received was NOT a spinning rod. It had small line guides. I liked the rod anyway and kept it paired with a Penn Warfare (size 15) and am happy with it. I would make sure what you get before you order. In any case a 6000 -8000 spinning reel would be too heavy for the blank my rod has. I wouldn't go bigger than a 4000-5000 spin reel.
Question:	What rod is better for fishing inshore in Florida keys medium heavy or heavy
Answer:	This rod I have in not an inshore rod. It is for jigging or bottom fishing on the offshore reefs. For inshore Florida fishing you want a medium to medium heavy 7' to 71/2' spinning rod with a size 3000 - 4000 spinning reel. You need to cast and flex to fight a fish in shallow water. Good luck !

Answer:	No it is NOT a spinning rod. The guides are conventional boat rod guides for a regular spooling crank reel. It is well made and I've caught both grouper and snapper on it. It held up well to some strong fish, at least so far.

Answer:	China. While I hate supporting them, you have little choice nowadays since most things are made there now. It is a decent air gun however, quality is up to par. My 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son really enjoyed shooting it. There is a small barely legible Ruger emblem on top of barrel, looks like a sticker. And another barely legible sticker with the usual safety warnings on side of barrel. Embossed into the fore end is the Made in China script. You really can't see it though, I had to take out my magnifying class just to read it. Good starter air rifle for kids or even for adults to use to plink.

Answer:	Well, I would have a lot of follow up questions for you. I guess the only way I could answer this question is to sum up what I bought it for. I wanted a rod that I could pack in my suit case. Fits perfectly; case is 25in long. I wanted a spinning rod that i would be able to fight and land fish up to about 10 lbs. I took it to Florida and caught some nice fish. It works great. I bought 2 because I have 2 kids. Pair them with a nice spinning reel. They won't come apart, medium action. Casts light tackle well. I used a saltwater popping cork and cast shrimp. I feel confident and would/will continue to use them. I will take them on every trip in the future. For me....worth the money.

Question:	How do you assemble this and put the line on? I’m happy you told me not to get it caught on power lines and to wear non skid shoes
Answer:	The assembly is no different than buying any other rod and reel, the reel affixes to the rod and is clamped down by the pressure screw on the lower handle. You extend the rod by pulling each section out, being careful to keep the guides in line. The easiest way to add line to the spool is to run line down the guides, tie it to the spool and reel it onto the reel until full. Remember to apply some tension to the line to get it packed tightly on the spool. It doesn’t need to be a lot of tension, but enough so it wraps tightly.
Question:	is the rod flexible? and how many rings does the rod have
Answer:	Not as flexible as reg. Pole. But not bad. I purchased one size longer then normal rod to match the flex on my reg. Rod.
