Answer:	The assembly is no different than buying any other rod and reel, the reel affixes to the rod and is clamped down by the pressure screw on the lower handle. You extend the rod by pulling each section out, being careful to keep the guides in line. The easiest way to add line to the spool is to run line down the guides, tie it to the spool and reel it onto the reel until full. Remember to apply some tension to the line to get it packed tightly on the spool. It doesn’t need to be a lot of tension, but enough so it wraps tightly.

Answer:	I had some issues with the first kit I got. The company actually contacted me after I left an honest 3 star review. They had me re-order the kit, and the replacement works much better... I would recommend this kit for the value and service from the seller. I use it mainly for wire to terminal soldering on electric motors in power tools, some of which have rather large chunks of solder on them. This works well for that, and I could see it working for anything smaller and more precise as well. I suggest some rosin flux and a brass tip cleaner on top of what is in this kit.
