Answer:	I haven't tried it past about 45 degrees, but it works great on mine at that angle.
Question:	Does it cast
Answer:	I've used these a lot. No the whole thing doesn't light up. There's a small red light, but very obvious, on the right side of the front of the dinky link receiver whenever a button is pressed on your remote. You can also use the light to help tell if the receiver is picking up interference from sunlight or other sources. Search google images for 'xantech dinky link' and you can see what it looks like. The light is off on the receiver normally, so it's not annoying while watching TV.
Question:	Is it lightweight
Answer:	It's 120 inches long or 10 feet long. If thats not long enough for your aplication, you could use any low voltage wire to extend the IR reciever.
Question:	Does it come with a fishing rod
Answer:	My IR repeater is set up with a DirecTV client or auxiliary box, not the main DVR. It works well. My recollection is that the directions talk about placement of the emitter on a device's IR eye being somewhat adjustable, as in directly on it, off to the right or left a bit and some other fine adjustments. All 6 of me devices I set up with this product worked on the first try. Maybe just good luck, certainly not technical skill on my part!

Question:	Is there an easy way to put the rod back down if it get stuck or do i gotta risk breaking it by forcing it
Answer:	I managed to twist a bit the first time I used it but they replaced the entire tool when I contacted the seller.
Question:	What is the test of the line
Answer:	My application as 4 pieces of equipment in a closet in my Home theater, for the receiver line which is the one with bigger head I drilled a hole in the wall above the door and mounted it on the wall out side the door visible in the home theater. all of the repeaters are attached to DirecTv, A 4K DVD Player, A HD DVD Player and a ROKU Player. I think you may have plugged the receiver into the wrong slot on the repeater controller. The only other thing that can cause a problem is placing the repeater cable in the wrong spot on the equipment you are trying to control. I use a good flash light to locate the spot on equipment where the repeater need to be placed, sometimes it hard to locate the exact spot. Hope this helpful.

Answer:	My Audio extension cable ( from the IR Reception head to the IR Repeater ) is 15m ( 49ft. ) long and this IR Repeater works perfectly.
