Answer:	It's really easy to attach the reel. There is a reel seat in the handle with a threaded collar that screws down to hold the reel securely in place. Once you have it in hand, you'll instantly see how it's done.

Answer:	Yes it is a good mobile fishing rod for lakes, creeks, or any place you see might have a bass or catfish in it. I would not use it in salt water for larger fish though. I have had no problems with it in the lakes I have fished and caught several bass, crappie, and catfish on it.

Answer:	I purchased an early version of this can opener in 2008. It is now 2017, and it has finally stopped working. It cost five dollars less back then and I think I got more than my money's worth. I have no qualms about buying this newer version and look forward to nine more years of use.
