Answer:	I have the 4 wt. rod. I notice that the more sections you add the tip becomes fairly 'heavy' feeling. I might try a 3 wt. line to see if the heavy feeling leaves. Thanks for the question, I like the 9'6" Max Catch rod.

They add way too much weight and make the action past 9.5 ft. feel very "slow and cumbersome" Perhaps the 3 wt. is better in this area, but the 4 wt. I own is not. It is not a bad 4 wt. at 9.5 ft. without extensions. Leave them in the rod sack.

Answer:	No, it does not have a line-in or mic input. It has a microphone hole in the front where I assume one could record to mp3 whatever the jambox hears.

Answer:	Do NOT buy it. It is a fire hazard piece of junk. I do not plug it into the wall, at all. Due to the buzzing sound, as if it is about to burst into flames. I would guess China makes them for around $3. Then sells them to the unwitting to their misfortune. It is only used for the radio now.

Answer:	I brought my 8 wt down to FL last summer for some inshore fishing and beach fishing. It easily handled Snook, permit, and redfish. It would have no problem with smaller Tarpon, but I would hesitate on anything bigger that 4ft. Mine handles large Pike and Muskie with no problems

Answer:	It is the 'weight' of the fly line that is to be used on the fly rod. You want to match fly line to rod by weight and note reels are also rated based upon size of line and quantity of line. You will see a very common fly rod/reel/line weight is a 9 foot 5 weight rod with 100 ft of line and enough backing on the reel to keep it comfortably filled up. What is best depends upon what you are fishing for and where. If trout fishing a 9ft 5wt rod, reel and line will server you very well. by the way, a 3 wt is lighter, and an 8 wt is heavier. There are lots of 'arguments' about what is best for where, but as a beginner something in 4 to 6 wt at 9 ft should serve you well.

Answer:	Yes I would. Within reasonable price, I believe it was satisfy those who are new to fly fishing, or just wants a good pole.

Answer:	The Max Catch combo came with a left hand retieve orientation. Admittedly I am not sure if they are all oriented that way, but mine was.

Question:	Could this be used for in-line spinners
Answer:	I have a 9wt and it handles strippers just fine it comes with a nice cork handle mine does not have a fighting but I know you can contact the company and order any kind you want I own a 4wt. 9wt and an a 11.6 ft switch rod 6wt. and they all work great!!
Question:	Is the foam remove able
Answer:	I would recommend the standard fighting butt. I used a 9 foot, 4 piece, 9 wt., with a standard fighting butt on Peacock Bass for six days. The rod was able to the large flies. The standard handle/butt was great fighting the bass. I averaged 30 peacock bass to the boat per day.

Answer:	No idea
Question:	What color is the head of the fly line
Answer:	No. When I ordered it, the description said it would come preloaded and it was also checked on the box. Company hasn't responded to email requests. It compared in price to another seller who was offering the preloaded reel for the same price or just the reel for $17. I bought from this seller because they were able to get it to me before Christmas. I noticed they changed the Amazon description after Christmas, probably because of all the confusion.
Question:	How do you tell the weight of the line? All the other manufacturers put the weight in ink on the line
Answer:	I ordered the pre spooled 3/4 version a couple of years back. It was disk drag and the quality wasn't that great. Do yourself a favor and spend 20 more dollars and pick up an okuma slv 2/3. It has a disk drag and is a stellar bargain.
Question:	My tag fell off, which color is tied to reel and which color should you tie leader too
Answer:	3 inches in diameter on a 3/4 it on a 4 wt . It will hold over a quarter inch of backing plus a full 4 wt fly line.

Answer:	The Black Star models are made with a higher quality carbon fiber and are targeted toward a more professional user. The Premier rods are still very good fly rods (I own two) but are targeted toward the beginner fly fisher and are a little more stiff than the higher carbon fiber fly rods.
